Recommended Posts

Wassup guys?

I am back with a new MOC: a Market-Frankford Line "M-3" train car.

The car this model is based on served riders of the M-F Line from 1960 until around 1998, when new rolling stock was brought in to replace the (then) 30-plus year old cars. Local riders gave these cars the nickname, "Almond Joy," so named for the almonds on the candy bar :classic:

Comments/suggestions welcome. Notice: the couplings do not turn when another car is attached for some reason.

That's interesting, I've never heard them called that. Taking the El is like riding a roller coaster sometimes. In some areas you really get thrown around a bit. Now how about the new silverliner cars for the regional rail.
