Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Recommended Posts

So I made a little MOC for Masa's Raising the Dead community build.. probably a bit late ;)

The scene depicts Barrizz finding the legendary Ghost Orchid (said to only grow from the corpses of Elves) in the NW region of the Moruth swampland.

Hey-ho, fellow Noctornians! I've been following GoH for a while now and finally got around to joining!

9991347844_5fd651efe1_z.jpg

Led by General Yvesgir, the Greenhides march through Noctornus in search for glory and blood. Hailing from the Southern parts of the Kelra Labyrinths, this renegade group of various Reptrians grew tired of the Black Spire's rule after they took over the South, and so left their home and duty to fight for Noctornus.

Yvesgir is a feared but respected general back in the Labyrinths, renowned for his skills as a general of war both offense and defense, along with his signature Ravager Blade that has took the lives of many helpless travellers that dare to enter the Labyrinths.

Among his recruits are Slethra, arguably the best archer in the South Kelra Labyrinths, Mossworth, the sly trickster that's not to be trusted, and Urkanth, the infamous warrior from Yvesgir's old army that's capable of dispatching even the biggest enemy in the field.

Leaving the South Kelra Labyrinths, the Greenhides hope to regroup with a larger army to begin the war, their thirst for victory growing ever stronger with each passing day. They are now making their way to the Rakath Mountains, and can be seen here unleashing their rage on a helpless Mitgardian traveller. Well, at least they got a banner to hold up high now

-------------------------

Well, I'll be on my way now to making the tribe challenge now (hopefully on time though).

Lookin' forward to all the head-bashing, pie-making and chaos of Noctornus

Cheers!

Mkjosha -

The type of bricks you own can make a difference on your guild choice but the main question is usually where you'll feel comfortable building. Avalonia has plains and islands in addition to forests, Kaliphlin has grey castles and verdant jungles, Some Mitgardians never use white since they live in the southern foothills. Nocturnus has the most variety, but ask yourself which environment you will enjoy building in.

Thank you for your feedback. It's been really helpful. I'm exploring the rest of the guilds more closely before I make my choice now.

@127 Welcome!

@LD I put my tribe off for too long too. Been busy being sick and playing GTA5.

@Nice Marmot Get the hell out of here. Mind your own guild. We don't need you here. This is Nocturnus, not Kaliphlin.

@127: Welcome! So those are some of the reasons Kaliphlin traders have a tendency to disappear in the labyrinth!

Do we know which side they support in the civil war?

@ Gideon: Kaliphin traders have irresistable loot  The Greenhides are in rebellion against the Black Spire, and so are on Lord Ssilyrrith's side.

@gideon: safest way nowaday is through the Rakath Mountains (with last stop Everlast) or by sea (last big stop is Mpya Stedor or Berigora) :)

Yea, no sensible trader would send the caravan through the Kelra Labyrinth.

Hammerstein NWC reporting for duty with my Sigfig the Master of Crows.

10027095196_3902c4266f_z.jpg

Born the son of a wealthy Avalonian Mage, Ravel Paramour was nothing but a disappointment to his father.

Useless in Combat, slow to learn and of average almost anonymous looks he was not even noticed by most at court.

His failed attempts at magic enraged his father. He had a natural ability to talk to birds but failed at all other attempts to cast spells.

At 15 he grew tired of the beatings and Fled to Nocturnus and into the Welcoming arms of Lord Ssilyrrlith. The Lord set a test for him to seek out the Fountain of Blood and so he quested for a decade to find it at the Fallen Angel in the Temple of Blood. Upon drinking a sip from the fountain the mysteries of necromancy were revealed to him. A further draft tipped him over the edge into Lunacy.

He then quested for the remains of the dishonored Black Falcons led by Evall Falcao a psychopath and founder of the Order of Black Paladins. He dragged their remains from their mass grave in the Ancient Burial Grounds. Summoning them back into unlife by casting their bones into the Fountain.

Now in the civil war he remains Loyal to Lord Ssilyrrlith, he yearns for the day when he can march an undead horde onto Avalonia.
