Heh, this is fun to read. Just like the 10179 serial number thread. :D

There is a Honda S2000 serial/production numbers list too.. was interesting to see where I placed on the 2006 MY production run.

2/20000  even though they're special numbers, just as much chance of getting them as any other

1/20000 to have a given number,

2/20000 to have one of two given numbers,

but I think it is 1/(20000*20000) to have two given numbers (what he asked).

If I've calculated correctly, the odds would be 0,01 % on 2 out of 20.000.

Nope. Assuming random uniform distribution the probability is 2 * (1/20000) * (1/19999) = 1/199990000. Good luck with that.

#14722, got it from the Lego store here in Toronto, Canada.

Also, I have to say, I was pretty impressed/surprised that it's actually printed on the "plate" and not just a sticker

Isn't it supposed to be "silver" rather than "faded black" ? :)

I take it you didn't actually get that plate...

It's his username on a NL-plate

A strange numberplate indeed...

As we say in Germany: "Schwarze Schrift auf gelbem Grund, halte Abstand, bleib Gesund" ;)

(meaning: black letters on yellow background, keep away, keep healthy)

Update: Ordered 10 minutes after the item went live on S@H on West Coast of US, around 8:40 PM I think. I got 1493! Can't wait to build this tonight!

#19635 just arrived (S@H U.S.) - thankfully without a destructive little ploybag floating around inside. I like how the box isn't huge, but filled to the brim with parts.
