commodore_legolas Posted April 1, 2013 Thanks! Well, since so many people like this I will tell you whats in store: A UHF Cuusoo project. (UHF was Al's cult classic film, released in 1989.) I will post any updates here and on my Flickr. Thanks everybody!
just2good Posted April 1, 2013 No way... NO WAY. First off, I now love you 'commodore_legolas'. Making a UHF Cuusoo project is an awesome idea, and this figure is AMAZING. Secondly, for the past month, I've been trying to make Weird Al figures! I was going to make the old Al figure (pre-1999) and a new Al figure (post-1998). For the old, I was going to use Frodo's hair, and Andrea for the new Al. But, no need for me to do that now! This is FANTASTIC! You should submit this to Cuusoo, too! I'm not even April Foolin'... I'm a huge Weird Al fan, and if you EVER need help with the Cuusoo projects, I'm here for you. Additionally, I'll give the projects a shout-out in my videos! Great job! Aether Fox Posted April 1, 2013 Haha, this is great! I'm curious to know how you got his autograph...
just2good Posted April 1, 2013 I could just think of the possibilities... - 'Fat' Al - 'Eat It' Al - George Newman - 'White and Nerdy' Al - 'Saga Begins' Al - 'All About the Pentiums' Al - 'Perform This Way' Al - 'Amish Paradise' Al Oh, the list goes on! I suggest doing a Cuusoo Al minifigure pack!
commodore_legolas Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) ^^^ And I thought you liked it on Flickr! I will Flickr mail you sometime soon! ^^Thanks. Here's how: 1. I went to his concert. (He's a great performer.) 2. Waited outside his tour bus. 3. Met him and got his autograph! He thought the minifig was awesome. He such a nice guy. I could just think of the possibilities... I was planning on doing all of those, except for Perform This Way and All About the Pentiums. Don't know what I should do first though. Thank you all! just2good Posted April 1, 2013 I was planning on doing all of those, except for Perform This Way and All About the Pentiums. Don't know what I should do first though. Good, because 'Pentiums' is not too popular and 'Preform This Way' was the most disappointing lead single since 'Money for Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies'. I can't wait to see the upcoming figures! I can't wait to see the upcoming figures! I like Pentiums but his costume is sorta boring. Preform This Way is an okay song, but the video is awful.
commodore_legolas Posted April 4, 2013 Alright, EB I need your help. I am planning to make a 1999-present Al, and I don't know what head to use. I would love to hear your ideas. Thanks!

LibraryBoy Posted April 19, 2013 Whaaaaa...?!? This is all kinds of awesome. Where is the hair from, one of the Friends sets?
commodore_legolas Posted April 19, 2013 Yep, Andrea's hair from the Friends theme. Thanks!
Amset-Rah Posted April 19, 2013 This is fantastic! I'd make a Like a Surgeon Al, but the surgeon minifig has the curves, but Al is a fairly skinny guy anyway, so I don't think it matters. I thought Andrea's hair would work well for Al, but I never thought about using Frodo's hair for the 80s Al.
