ER0L Posted March 23, 2013 Hi all, this is my Servo Showdown entry, a Shell Art Deco Gas Station. It's part of the Garage Project, too, but since there will probably be some additions there's no "2.0 status" yet. Main thing here is the snotted roof, but since the main problems were solved more or less at the beginning, this was quite a fun build. Interior: Of course there could be some more details, probably there'll be some more wall decoration ... Details: Counter, radiator (probably already existing, but no direct reference), gas pump (already known), tire holder, register, telephone (same as radiator), shelf with oil cans and stuff, gas cans, illuminated fridge. As others have mentioned the SNOT work is good - I particularly like the island area. Maybe if I was to have one suggestion it would be try curved pieces for the top of the frontage rather than the small cheese wedges. Glad you like the vehicle, too, but, to be honest, it's not a new one, see http://www.eurobrick...4 The island area is taken from the small station that went with the diner and which is unnecessary now. Kind of MOC recycling, but I'm glad I don't have to build everything from scratch ... Maybe if I was to have one suggestion it would be try curved pieces for the top of the frontage rather than the small cheese wedges. That might be more in keeping with an Art Deco themed Station, but excellant MOC. I was thinking about that, but my idea was to have those rather narrow red lines throughout the MOC which wouldn't be possible then. If there was only one colour I'd probably prefer your suggestion.
