Ok here we go. I still don't know how to change my avatar, but I think this will still count..?

The instructions for changing your avatar photo are in the Visual User Guide, but to summarize it for you:

1. Rightclick on the image in your post and select "copy image location"
   
2. Go to your Profile
   
3. Click "Change Photo" which will be a button that is over your current avatar on your profile page
   
4. Paste the image URL into the appropriate field in the popup window
   
5. Click done.

Here's my new avatar, a Sci-Fi bounty hunter! Why lug around a sepearate gun when you can just replace that cut-off arm with a Sniper-rifle arm:

This guy was a blast to build... to bad I only got around to posting him now... either way, enjoy!
