Philo Posted November 22, 2012 Cute and clever, as usual... I wonder how it is controlled, omniwheel vehicles are not easy to control with a 4 sticks remote... Maybe a NXT + IR-link?

The of aeh5040's "Lobster" Lego Technic Mecanum Wheel Car shows how one can use two Power Functions remotes. His Lobster Building Instructions show those remotes too:
Philo Posted November 22, 2012 Agreed, but aeh5040's includes a bunch of differentials to make control easy, something that doesn't exist (as far as I can see) in Isogawa's crab. Controlling each wheel separately is tricky (but then I tend to be all thumbs ;)

Jay53CR Posted May 20, 2018 Hey! What type of wheels did you use for the Omni wheel construction?
