Scania P270 Containertruck

Here is my next MOC after the Hitachi ZW 310.

It is a red Scania P270 Containertruck with trailer!

The features:

raise the boom (2 pairs of big pneumatic cylinders)

extend the boom (2 mini pneumatic cylinders)

raise the pillar

move the "hook" for switching between unload and tip

Athough the front of the cab does not appeal to me in the way it is been made. :blush:

Great work on making the Scania look real while working in purely Technic in that scale.

@Alasdair Ryan: I also was thinking about a Lego Technic/Lego mixed cabin like the 8109, but then I decided to make a cabin made of full Lego Technic, but yours looks also great :thumbup:

I too had started a build of this type of container truck (or Skip Lorry in the UK) using 8052 as a chassis. Same ideas at the same time :wacko:

I'll keep going as I need the practice but good work!

I too am working on a truck but it's a bit more complex than that.:laugh:
