Considiring these sets are going to be here for the first half, they're pretty cool. However the f1 racer with no suspension will be a let down but I figure that is too much to ask for a 1h set. The handler may be cool. It looks compact and maybe as dense as 8043 (lots of gears!).

No suspension... This is not new. But a letdown?

Think about it: according to Cweqto, it includes one of the rarest tyres LEGO has produced. Yes, the ones you need to build Nathanael Kuipers's Supercar.

Yah, when it comes out, you can buy a hundred of them from the LEGO company. But I am not dead because it has no suspension, I wouldn't expect it to have suspension.

It could be hidden, like previous 1:8 scale F1 sets. If not, there is always modding.

By the way, am I the only one who has not seen pictures for any of 2013 sets?

If I remember correctly those "racers" use winding motors and coud barely be called technic. This is realy stuf targeted exclusivly to KFOL and should IMO be moved to Racers theme.

Edit: I am surprised by high price of grand prix races. It look more of a 79,99 euro set to me. It better have lots of parts, since it dont have any power functions, gearbox and interesting panels. Chopper is 1100pcs and 90euro, ADAC truck is also 1100pcs and PF and is 100 euro.

According to this Grand prix racer should contain around 1300 pcs.

A 57cm racer without suspension is just not right, I can't imagine how "empty" the F1's body is.

The leaked pictures probably does not show all the function.

This 1half doesnt seem interesting for me.Especially If there, isnt complex set with power function.

I hope 2half will be better.

Were there new pictures? I don't see any.

Hello,

the Racer has 48cm...

Was there an error in the leaked picture that claimed it was 57cm?

there is a nda on the pictures so it is not legal to make them public.

maybe the size measurement is a way to show lego where is the leak

I see the date on the Racer says Feb instead of Jan, that is why I was asking if it was the spring set like the logging truck and the supercar.

Those fuzzy pics from last week. Brickipedia has a picture of it.

I am excited for the F1 car because it is new to me as I don't have a technic F1 car and the parts should be different from what I have. The claw machine should be interesting as well.
