I tap my fingers impatiently, waiting for the madman to come and strike me. It doesn't seem right to hit the fool while he his in sucha drunken, demented state, yet not really hitting anyone.

"Stop flailing your arms about and try to actually hit someone this time around." I coach him, somewhat furiously.

Eric is hit by the demigod and receives 10 damage, but then turns around and smacks Odzaph causing 122 damage! Erdathcath then performs a shield and restores health to the whole party and also removes the "weakened" effect from Pretzel. With this new-found strength, Pretzel performs a critical hit on the demigod, striking him with 27 damage. Odzaph loses another 10 health because he is badly poisoned. The demigod is close to defeat.

It is still early in the morning, around 4am. There is still time to rest. Eugene is still shaking in his magic lamp.

The party lays down and sleeps for the rest of the night. In the morning they wake up, and look around. Nothing was much different then how it was when they finished the battle, Odzaph's dead body was still laying in the middle of the path, but Eugene's magic lamp has stopped shaking. What does the party wish do to do?

Eric wakes up and notices Erdathcath and Pretzel digging. "So, what are you looking for?"

I had mistaken Pretzel dig post. I thought he was digging for treasure instead of digging a grave .

"Let's wake up the genie and get going already" Eric grunted. He stretched and yawned, waiting for the genie to bring them to their destination.

A little bit of blue smoke wisps out of the magic lamp, and you hear a timid voice: "Is... is... he-he go-gone... ye-ye-yet???"

"Yep, dead and buried. Now can we get going? Besides, what are you even afraid of, aren't genies supposed to be immortal?"

It's ok, I understand. Though we should continue on now. I feel great after defeating a powerful warrior, and finding a piece of gold in the ground, let's get a move on it!

"At least we know a good way of making you go away," I snort.

I mount my cross in preparation for today's flight...this is, of course, after contentedly munching on a pretzel.

"OK... OK... then... lets go!"

Suddenly Eugene grabs Erdy's hand, who then grabs Eric, who then grabs the unsuspecting and probably unwilling Monk Pretzel. They zoom off, again, towards Dr. Bart Trice's lonely abode.

As the heroes are traveling at such a great speed, it is hard to pay attention to the surrounding details, but they notice that the elevation is rising and that things are getting rockier. They must be heading towards Mount Ulysses, one of the tallest mountains in island of Uland.

They slow down and stop, after traveling for about five hours, thirty two minutes, and forty one seconds.

"Well well well! We've finally made it! Shall I go up and inform Dr. Trice that you have arrived?"

Meanwhile, I'll just dig in the ground for gold with my shovel.
