MOC: 1020 ÖBB Austrian Locomotive

Recommended Posts

Hello.

This is my first real MOC.

It is a 1020 ÖBB electic locomotive.

It is 8 knobs wide and 58 knobs long.

It can go through any track radius.

I hope you like it.

Well, Welcome to Eurobricks 'BrettFavre'

First word is:

Wow! I really like the detail! I've seen a lot of these types of locomotives, but this is one of my favorites! I really love how you put the (I lack a better word) wheel covers on the bogie, plus the bogies have a good amount of detail. This is for sure a very good MOC.

Great first post Brett! Keep building amazing models,

Rail Co

I love this type of engine. There was once one by LEGO. That was set 4551 but it was red. Your rendition of a green one is simply brilliant and has got many details LEGO's red crocodile did not have. Good for you that there is no "Buy it now" button! I would be tempted to buy it!

Very nice indeed. Not really one for electric overhead power myself, but I would certainly buy one of these.

Welcome Brett - very nice build. I've always liked these types of electric locomotives. Nice color as well.

Please be aware that our image posting guidelines are 800x600 max if you could resize your images. Much appreciated.

Thank you very much. Great that you like my locomotive.

No it is not powered but I will build a waggon with two motors

and so it will be powered and can run on tracks.

Greetings Brett.

Lovely work - massive locomotive!

Too bad it isn't powered as it looks like a real animal.

We should see more of these non-steam locs please...

First, welcome! Next, love the build. The detail in the wheelset is fantastic. And of course, love the color. Great work and look forward to seeing more from you.
