Darkdragon Posted April 13, 2012 If you think about it from a business perspecive, these things are worth exactly what people are willing to pay. If LEGO has MSRP of $24.99 and Toys R Us can sell it for $34.99, of course they will. That is why they are still in business - becase they make sure to have profit. They make sure prices in the stores can cover employees, sales, advertising, and still put money in the bank. I do shop at Toys R Us. Do I like that they have prices that are over (sometimes significantly) MSRP? Of course I don't. That's why I only shop there on sales and I only buy things that end up under MSRP after the sale. It's annoying that it could take me an hour to find a decent deal since I have to check MSRP on every set I'm thinking of buying, and do all the math and stuff.
