I can't find anything else that LEGO produces that could match?

Sometimes it is a little photoshop trickery that takes out the bits the builder does not want seen.

Back in the day, like mid 90s, I had some regular lego axles with shocks in them. NON technic. Connecter on top was 2x2 and they were just regular lego axles.
I was wondering if maybe there were some modern versions of this in some sets or something. I would rather not go farming for 90s parts. Also, mine were red if that helps at all. But they were simple super compact and if i remember correctly all 1 part axle with shocks.

I guess it wasn't this part, since it appears to only have come in black, but perhaps these might work for you?

If so, take a look at https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2605c01#T=P&C=11

Those look technic. Mine, and the color dosent actually matter, were just regular lego. no technic at all. I actually found a Ebay post for one.

Yes, thank you! Unfortanatly it looks like this was discontinued. Sad, i found it to be really useful to adding life to some of my builds back in the day.

These two recent pieces combine for a somewhat similar city-scale vehicle suspension (though the function is more steering than body-roll like the old red piece with springs):

Ya i got a set of those in a fire truck i got a while back. I thought they were kinda cheap. Cheasy. But they got me thinking about the old shock part i used to have.

Hi guys,

I just found some old legos that I used to have as a kid and I was wondering if you could help me.
Does anyone know which Lego theme, these characters belong?

Thanks!!

The red uniform is from LEGO Town/City racing drivers between 1994 and 1999.

The Oil one has been in City quite often 1994 to 2013

The last one looks to have been slightly changed as it never had red arms officially. Res Q was a City/Town subtheme in 1998/1999.

Hope that helps

Hello everyone!

I came across this amazing MOC by Wes Talbott and I really like the way he designed the eye. Unfortunatly I cannot figure out what piece he used for the lower eyelit. It looks like it might be a mudguard but I can't find one of that shape 6 studs wide on Bricklink. Can anyone help me out?

If this is not the right place to ask this question, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Did you complete this build? I was thinking about tackling Talbott’s beholder and was wondering how hard it was to get all the parts?

Need help with this one please.  It came in a pile off the web.  It has a serial number on the bottom, 253P9 (although the stamp isn't great and it could be B or R).  Although it can't be seen in the photo this IS Lego branded.  It seems odd to got to the bother of using hex screws on the bottom of a simple brick if there isn't anything in there.

Hi, recently my family visited Legoland California. On display there were some MOCs to fill out winter displays:

https://imgur.com/a/pAFYTYz

I was able to discern most of the sets that might’ve been used (e.g. 31105 Toy Shop) BUT I couldn’t find a set that had the various “TOY” stickers used to complete the look. The staff on hand at the time weren’t able to do, either.

Anybody else have a clue on the “TOY” stickers?

LEGO Xtra stickers but they are sold out and apparently do not even appear on the UK site. Not sure if you can find them on the US one.

Thank you very much!!!

I have few more to go….but it’s not letting me upload the pics as max total size is now 0.04mb.

Not sure how to upload even small size pics as each time it keeps on reducing

You can always upload to imgur (or any image hosting site) and then just post a link here rather than the image.

Or to identify sets by yourself, first find some rare looking part in some odd looking color. For example, I used your orange flag on the vehicle and the drill piece on the mech. Then look those up on Bricklink (e.g. search 'drill', or browse the color guide to find all decorated flags in orange: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp?utm_content=subnav ). Once you've found the parts, chasing down the set is simple enough.
