I took inspiration from here : Heavy-lift Ship

DOCK-MightyServant1.jpg

Unfortunately I could not get what i wanted, because the variation between the normal buoyancy and diving has always been minimal in the various tests that I did

The very satisfaction is that it floats with only Lego bricks! :sweet:

if I can make it float ... i'm already happy

see also the desire is to move a few millimeters up and down .. 2 or 3 ? hehehe

is a hazard ... but I want to try

of course now I'm working on the waterline, the ship weighs 1 kg!

You will need some water ballast that you can pump in and out.

Making it sink is the easy bit,it's making it rise out the water that will be hard.

I have compensed this problem (evidenced by your animated gif) with this 2 pieces :

'Boat Weighted Keel 2 x 8 x 4 without Bottom Tab' (x149a)

x149a.1178385249.jpg

and 'Brick 2 x 6 x 2 Weight with Plate Bottom' (73090b)

73090b.1115417886.jpg

for a total of 0.102 Kg to 43cm of distance from the "cockpit"

wow i am surprised that it floats! Are you going to make it able to sink?

tim

Yes !

I do not know how many mm will move

I have to make connections and have the time to take the test

I have already taken the test to pump water and then air, and it worked ... pushes the air out of the water and vice versa .... Obviously the quantities are minimal

the ideal is to have more Tank

I must now consider whether to put the tanks in series, or independent of each other as designed at the beginning

This is the Hull of my ship

updating

Unfortunately, the water entering the tank is not enough to "send off" the ship

The difference is micrometric

Floats too well! :hmpf_bad:

there should be more tanks and a system to rotate them when they fill with water or air optimizing the load

but I have no other :cry_sad:

I probably pointed too high for my chances

but let's see what I can do even

Unfortunately I could not get what I wanted

the variation between the normal buoyancy and diving has always been minimal in the various tests that I did

Unfortunately the limited time available did not allow me to make the last change that I have in mind

I close with these pictures for the moment the status of jobs ... followed by a video

satisfaction is cjhe floats only with Lego bricks! :sweet:
