fallentomato Posted February 27, 2012 So this isn't specifically about LEGO animation, but I thought others here might be interested in seeing the talk I gave to my college film group this week:
Paganomation Posted April 20, 2012 This is a cool thing to have recorded. Also, I find it fascinating (and somewhat hilarious) how often the topic of stop-motion water comes up.
Darkdragon Posted April 20, 2012 Great presentation David. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I hope you created some new animators, it's so much fun and we must see more good stop motion films in the world!
fallentomato Posted April 20, 2012 (edited) I find it fascinating (and somewhat hilarious) how often the topic of stop-motion water comes up. Not obnoxious or annoying? Edited April 20, 2012 by fallentomato
Paganomation Posted April 20, 2012 Not obnoxious or annoying? Well, it's no "how many frames per second did you use?" :) But yeah, I think it's cool that we work in a medium where there are things that there are no guidelines for yet. Everyone has their own techniques. What's different about the LEGO community (as opposed to other art forms) is that folks seem more open to sharing those techniques so that everyone can build upon them (pun intended), rather than keeping them under lock and key.
