gusmoore17 Posted October 19, 2006 I'm standing here again against those who disagree with the HP lego sets. Maybe the first waves (2001-2002) were really bad, but when my compatriot Alfonso Cuar
Sting Posted October 22, 2006 If I recall, didn't Lego get shafted somehow by Disney, leading to record-low sales one year?Probably some bad blood between them... which is fine by me. The less Disney in Lego, the better. You don't need..."them"... to make good pirate sets. (They can do it cheaper, too). I don't know about any bad blood between Disney and Lego, but I do know that the reason I want Lego to get that Pirates of the Caribbean Liscence is because it would force Lego to make some pirate sets again. Right now, despite the obvious huge interest in pirates, lego has no interest in making pirate sets. I would rather have a new Pirate Line or Re-Releases than a POTC Line, but with Lego's current business strategy, using a Highly succesful movie line is the most likely! Lets hope they change there mind and make a new Pirate line!
BearHeart Posted November 25, 2006 Im really hoping for some great OOTP sets as well. I got all four of the GoF sets and they're probably my favorite sets out of my whole collection.
