And if I were you, I seriously would've sold it for 7 Life. WC Tops are something of a luxury item that don't have that great of an extra bonus. If you can't afford to replace it, go with Old Tops.

Yeah, I probably should have done that. Too late now. In other news-yay! Got into another WC run, O1 gave Red Agent, nothing special. O2...gave DSorc. Not WC Tops, like I was hoping, but still, decent.

EDIT: Hidden benifit of fame-farming....you look like a n00b, so people in the Nexus give you free stuff.

EDIT2: Went into three Sprite Worlds this morning, got three Sprite Wands and no dex.

EDIT3: Yay, unlocked the final class, Trickster! My first act was to go to the statue of Oryx in the Vault.

I never realized Fame farming could get so monotonous and so fast at the same time. Two days, and I've managed to farm 4,500 Fame. So I bought my Ammy, and then I rolled up a Wizzy in my second char slot...it's a +37, +24 roll. I'm tempted to actually pot him up, but I want to get accustomed to a Wizzy-appropriate playing style first. I'm debating whether or not to grab a third char slot for a farming char and just save this Wizzy for later. For now, I'm getting him T9 stuff so he'll look cool when I take him out.

Okay. I'll accept other pots instead of Def at the usual rates, if that makes it easier. (Spd 4:1, Dex 3:1, Att 2:1, Wis 2:1, Mana 1:1, Vit 2:3, Life 1:6.5)

I've got 2 Def and some Att, so that works out fine for buying the BBow. Then, I can just grab one of my Spds and buy the GBow and DHide, and the SSkin is free, so then I just need to get a few more pots to convert to Def to buy the Griff. See, it all works out in the end.

I hate all dungeons, save for Pirate Caves (if I can lead a bunch of newbs through, great for boosting party level-ups) and Jungles (you know, the mixcoatl ones). I hate all of the others, and they all hate me.

On the topic of dungeons, I finally soloed a Sprite World today. Had to do it with a full inventory of HP pots on my 7/8 Necro, but it's an achievement nonetheless. My farming Wizzy's also paid for himself, now, and started earning pots.

Also, I've got the Gold for another char slot, so what should I do with it? I'm debating whether to do Archer, Priest, or Mystic. Archer because it's great for plowing through mobs. Priest because I love healing abilities. (and hate melee, so no Paladins) Mystic because the class has always intrigued me and because I already run the other two staff classes. Thoughts?

I would go priest or archer as I find Mystic's special to be quite useless.

I suggest Mystic, then you can do events like Cubes and Skulls more easily.

On the subject of Cubes, my Rogue got two of them last night. He ended up dying, which was sad because he was +24 and I lost four def in equips, but:

I don't have the right style to play Rogue though (too undisciplined), so I think I'm going to sell my Ammy and max a huntress 3/8 + a bit of speed.

Sprites drop MP pots, and with the right armor/maxed Def on a Pally you can null most, if not all, damage to a Pally while fighting your way through the dungeon. Add to that that the Pally can both heal and boost himself, and you have a basically unlimited supply of MP dropped to do it with, and you've got a damned good char to solo a high-level dungeon with.

Yeah, but the range on melees is awful, even after the build 122.3 buff. I've just been farming godlands for five months on staff classes, and I'm used to having long range.

Besides, Sprites are a sort of a side project for me (even if I ran five of them solo today already). My main goal is and has always been O1, and he throws around so much Weak and Quiet and is not at all melee-friendly.
