I built a bit further 2018

the bridge next to the wall and above the river is ready ...
There is also lighting placed under the bridge ... (yellow)

It is made with a brick technique
Marakoeschtra wall technique
see:
4th technique on page below:

Nice lighting, gives the setting an interesting mood. The walls of that bridge are nicely built, I like that technique.

That lady has some eyebrows, they definitely need some trimming... :pir-laugh:

PS: The links in your post are a little bit off, everything leads to your Eurobricks thread.

Haha, Frida Kahlo begs to differ ...

Also, that Marklin layout is beautifully insane with all those overhead wires covering every bit of track!

Meanwhile, with a lot of trial and error, I have one of the
railway sloping sides planted

I found that very difficult..
To make it look realistic .
If better ideas to work even nicer and more realistic
I would like to hear it..

Thanks patje

That's good work, concealing the fairly steep embankment. I love the amount of greenery on this layout, it gives the trains a world to run "in" rather than "on". Well done.

Yeah, looks close enough to the real world with all that plants and trees. Can't imagine how to improve upon that, but I'm sure you will anyhow

the biggest challenge

however, is  the turns of the tracks
