deskp Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) Here is my MOC of the Golden playset style. I thought it was an iconic building to try and make, aslo i doubt we'll see it in lego seeing as there wasnt much action going on there. Updated the horn things on top of the pillars. CUUSOO link if you want to support an set of this building. golden hall deskp.lxf Edited January 8, 2012 by deskp
Elander Posted December 22, 2011 Great! I would buy it -if LEGO do produces that set. XD Is over the door a small room? I like the small equipments (see the throne and the fireplace). I think the large horse flags would looks awesome. What do you think which minifigures would LEGO put into this set? Very good work!
Skipper Posted December 23, 2011 Awesome, some Lord of the Rings MOCs already! I like the simple TLGness of the build, even if the scale is a bit beyond what they'd do. I hope the license will produce Rohan sets - I always thought they were the most badass in the movies. Nice work!
deskp Posted December 23, 2011 Is over the door a small room? What do you think which minifigures would LEGO put into this set? Yeah theres a room over the door. I would think Theoden, Grima, Eowyn, a soldier/guard and Gandalf. I like the simple TLGness of the build, even if the scale is a bit beyond what they'd do. As it is right now it consists of 391 pieces
Elander Posted December 28, 2011 Yeah theres a room over the door. I would think Theoden, Grima, Eowyn, a soldier/guard and Gandalf. Yepp those minifigures are my thought too. -King Theoden could look like bewitched and classic serious. -Grima could look like ...Grima (worry style) -Eowyn: also classic in brown dress -Gandalf get the white magic wand -the Guards could be Hama and Gamling As it is right now it consists of 391 pieces Wow, only 391 pieces!? What do you think how expensive could this set be?
trooper 278 Posted December 29, 2011 Looks like a GREAT set, (as for the price amazon: Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter 396 pieces- $53.88)....
Saruman the White Posted December 29, 2011 I would definetly buy this if it were a set but at what price would you sell it for?
deskp Posted December 29, 2011 (edited) Looks like a GREAT set, (as for the price amazon: Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter 396 pieces- $53.88).... Yeah somewhere btween 50-60 dollars. The piece count would increase abit when you add the minifigures and their gear. Edited December 30, 2011 by deskp
Saruman the White Posted December 29, 2011 Yeah somewhere btween 50-60 dollars. The piece cound would increase abit when you add the minifigures and their gear. Hopefully Lego wont make this theme as expensive as the star wars theme.
