Hi everyone,

I made a new pirate themed MOC with Derfel's great techniques. I can't totally finish this MOC because of my military service but wish you like it.

Looks great Robinson! :pir-wub:

A beach, ships, rum, what more could a pirate want? The whole MOC has a great peaceful island retreat feeling. You can definitely see Derfel's inspiration but I think you've given it an unique style as well, I really like the woodworking on the larger building.

What were you planning to add to make it "finished?"

Impressive 'Robinson', I like the use of 2x1 slope 30 slope pieces as siding on the tavern....neat boathouse and quite interesting rocky overpass behind it too. :pir-classic:

Brick On 'Robinson' while drinking rum ! :pir-wink:

Thank you very much =)

MOC have some mistakes like color scheme of woodwork. Some bley parts appear behind woodwork. Maybe I can use black parts to hide background bley colors.

I can see Derfel's technique sitting in this MOC. Nevertheless, it is a very orginal and well executed work displaying a great setting!

Expect this to be

Your cliff work looks great, and the pub is amazing. :pir-sweet:

Good luck with your military services, and keep up the good work!

I have to say, I like all the mismatched colors, it gives it a weathered natural feel.

It's really quite impressive.

Very neat build. I like the use of the slopes for siding. It would make a great cedar shake look with the right color. I may have to borrow that idea in something.

Keep up the good work.
