MOC: Bobblehead Figures

Recommended Posts

gallery_2351_18_164.gif

i don't like the static model and always try to add them to any moving elements.

even the best LEGO figures - technic-figures - can not move themselves.

so had to come up with own construction and design for this.

allow me to introduce - bobblehead figures.

true, they while moving only one head :classic:

is the most common standard LEGO head.

here's how it is done

2.jpg

it is more realistic. by the way, this is me. :classic:

can move on to more recognizable characters.

or do you like DC Comics?

7.jpg

or cyborgs and robots?

i also wanted to build a stormtrooper, but was afraid that the rush to fans of SW. :classic:

who wants, can make their bodies as to the figures in Minilande. perhaps it would be great look.

or it may be better to do so here.

my favorite.

why? because he has moved more and hands. a little bit. :classic:

note: requires non-slip surface or a solid foundation and always secure fit!

This is great! I really like the concept, and you realised it very well too

I do hope legs on a skeleton wouldn't be too lose, but other figures will work just as good.

I'll definitely give this a try :classic:

Not bad at all. I do think that the minifigure torsos are too small for the heads though.... Maybe a Cubedude type body?

Great work - This can be use as a backbone to build some advance/ complex figuers.

IMHO, this looks much smooth and better than some other method which leave a lot of stub in each surface.

Thanks for sharing your great creation idea.

This is a great idea! I love the way it works with a miniifig body. My only question is, does the minifigure body support the weight of the head? Have you done any tests with that?

Thanks for sharing! Although I emphatically reject that "technic figures" are the best figures!

These are great! Do you think that you could show how the SW heads look on the actual minifigs?

Yes. But only in LDD. I didn't have any minifigures of SW. :classic:

01.jpg

A new design for Yoda.

Next: Heroes of games.

Power Armor and Vault Boy from Fallout 3 (not just the characters of game rather symbols of game).

Nice idea in the first place and soem really nice designs afterwards! Love the SW and the Fallout helmet! Just one suggestion for making Duke more recognizable - make his hair more squarish - remove the cheese slopes on sides and add the tiles just like in the middle. Also a cigar would suite him well. I'd really love to make some of theese in real, but I lack the cheese slopes in all the colors, which are a sort of the main piece in the build.

Thanks for the criticisms and suggestions.

About hair - so it will be too squarish. And a cigar is a good idea.

The same problem. :classic:

I do feel like the Darth Vader figure needs some work.

He does not deserve this. Will remain so as he is now.

Another heroes of games.

More precisely, 10 characters from 1 game.
