Yes, ist fits much better.

Yeah, they are amazing (finally). Once a year, or even more ago, I asked RM8 if rc4wd company, which he co-operated to release 62mm-compatible tires, has ever any plans for 49.5mm tires but they didn't, unfortunatelly. Now, after their official release by Lego I'm happy to live and see their wide use in MOCs.

Great Volvo, BTW. I don't want to compare it with another existing Volvo in the same scale, but the both are brilliant and even being quite diferrently-made they mirror the real truck extremelly close. I love the way when the same thing could be achived with totally different techniques.

It is MPJ's (technicproject's) "Volvo FH Tractor unit". Unfortunatelly, I lost a link to his post :sceptic:

What is anti-ackermann about it? It seems simply parallel to me.

BTW, are those the same tires that the Ford Mustang has?

Mustang has "regular-wide" 49.5x20mm tires while here the newly appeared 49.5x14mm tires which are accurate now in diameter to width scale.

It will be a pure Shelf Model, so an Accurate steering is not neccessary, and this strange variant fits better to the structure at this time.

I was limited by only Mack parts,

I know, and it still looks great.

Interesting indeed. It looked like that by the images, just didn't believe it. Which new set introduced it? Hopefully it will happen for larger tires/wheels as well.

11L-wide

a 11 wide steering axle fits perfect to get a 15 wide vehicle, if this was the question.
