That idea I had when I was building 1:17.5 Unimog because I wanted to make Humvee, but it also has portal axles and independent suspension what was to much to integrate in such small scale, but your pickup version is cute. Really like it will h rims fro m 42080 set if I'm not mistaken.

If it is roughly 1:17 it could also be close to your Scania is which is like M.A.N. some 1:16.67 scale

It is difficult to judge from the pictures, maybe it is correct width. Do you work with some kind of real world reference machine or just build for fun without too much hassle?

Width is as it should be, perhaps there is s possibility to put linear actuator below cab, IMHO lifting height is really good :thumbup:

this looks to me like this could lift a really heavy load. Is it designed to do so? if so how would the counterweight work? I know in real life these machines can weigh a lot but some have a very heavy counter weight built in the vehicle. Are we to assume that this forklift has the same capacity?

Sorry tired tonight, But IMO it is a buildable and playable MOC, I have Kevin Moo's forklift built and the part count for that model is 1768, I would think Effermans would be hard pressed to be more than 800? parts. I suspect that you could build this moc ( minus the PF ) out of a 42076 and 42079 and still have change to buy a Bugatti compared to kevins.

As for the tilt ram in the cabin, My Mitsubishi 6.0 tilt ram pivots sit right next to the brake and accelerator pedals and honestly I use it as a foot rest when travelling between yards ( about 3km's )

Model Comments, I would add work lights to the cabin, maybe also a seat and controls detail, ( ok that's uping the parts count ) but Efferman Moc's always have those suttle details.

@brickless_kiwi Partcount of the lxf screenshot is 737. I guess even with upcoming details the partcount should be below 1000 parts.

The next Chassis revision with a significantly lowered tilting pivot point to increase the lever  for the tilting cylinder

My initial reaction was the flat one, but in the end I prefer the fat one. It is also more in line with the Kalmar ...

New Project

Converting my R530 into a Recovery Truck. First Tries with a bruickbuilt Towing Fork were not satisfying,

The decission for the Axle configuration is done. The Wheelbase is a bit long, but the rotator will need its space.
