WW category 1: The Gold Rush

Recommended Posts

I've always wanted to build something out of all gold, and I've always wanted to build my first train. So this is the prefect opportunity. I tried to use all types of gold piece that I have. I think besides some weapons and bionicle pieces, I've used 90% of them.

My entry for category 1, the ultimate luxury train: The Gold Rush

Crazy, cool & gold rush are the right words to describe it. It's a train that doesn't get robbed of its cargo, but its parts. I doubt it will ever return to its hometown. :sceptic:

I was going to build another flatbed filled with troops for protection

But that wouldn't look nearly as luxurious.

Best train I have ever seen. Amazing detail even with gold pieces. Good job! Good luck in the contest!

Wow, that is a lot GOOOLLLD! Neat train though, is it PF or non-powered? default_classic.gif

It's non-powered. I don't have any lego motor.

Altough my favorite mocs are mostly true historic ones. This is also one of my favorites now, altough it's gold it's looking incredible! Awesome job!

Really neat gold train. I haven't seen that many gold pieces before so that is impressive. I like how it is, but if you changed the engine to a different color scheme, but kept the passenger car the same I think it would look really realistic.
