Strictly Concept Ship 5 masted HMCS Andromeda

Well this is strictly a Concept ship and i doubt it will ever be built but if it was it would measure and thes are rough estimations but about:

Length: 5 ft

Height: 2.5 ft

Width: .5 ft

Weight: 10 - 20lbs

Number of sails: 15 Main sails and 2 - 3 outrigger(widow maker) sails

Guns(cusotm built lego cannons for cheapness): 34

Number of Decks: 2

Affiliation: HMCS

perhpas but if you collected the pieces over time as opposed to right away it might not bee all that expensive

Well there she is so far 5 masts and no stern castle yet adn the rigging this time for some reason is off but thats what she'll look like.

I am half tempted to scrap the plans for the starwind and build the andromeda but phew i dont think i could wait that long to put her together.

except the fact of the cannons and the stern castle im gonna slap on her you know the more i draw her the more i fall in love with her and the more i want to build her it's like a child or something.

Yeah i know about the masts i was thinking about that last night but the logistics of where all the rigging would attach became a nightmare.

Why white? I dunno cause i like the fact of being the good guys and beign able to blwo the S*** out of anything that comes along plus like ive said before in the lego universe the good guys got dealt a raw deal with their ships granted they were fast and more manuverable but they were out manned, and out gunned the only thing they had left was gile.

Admiral Starwind, I was wondering what's your motivation behind building a ship with several masts? In another thread you were aiming for a 4 master because you wanted it to have more masts than any other ship, but apparently this wasn't to be so and now you have a concept for a 5 master. Not that I'm implying anything wrong with this, I'm jut wondering do you want to create a LEGO ship with the most masts ever?

I take it you are wondeirng is i have penis envy LOL no i don't i just want to do something that has never been done before and as far as i have seen no one has made a 4 master and the HMCS Starwind is still underway she has just been scrapped and revamped now to go from a 12 gun ship to a 24 gun ship and the some of the parts are on the way. The HMCS Andromeda however is just a concept ship.

so this is your next project after the starwind right??? lol yikes.... that thing would just be hideos vrs any other ship... what do you estimate the minifig crew to be? (enough to make her look functional that is)

Yeah the number of cannons poses several logistical problems.

It's possible my next ship that im thinking of is going to be very od but small as to how it is odd i cannot tell you yet but you will see.

Admiral Starwind, have you done any more work on the HMCS Andromeda?

As a side note I think your Brickshelf Folder could really do with sub-folders this way you can put all the pictures for a particular MOC in the same folder. It makes them much easier to find and differentiate between than having all the pictures in the one folder. And you can upload the Pirate Forum advetisement to each of the sub-folders giving more converage. X-D

Mr Norrington, you'll find penis is the politically correct term for the primary male reproductive organ - anything else would slang. If the word offends you then its probably best to avoid this thread, but be rest assured there is nothing obscene about the human reproductive system. Okday everyone! go to neutral corners, take a time out, and lets resume discussion on the Admirals nice looking ship. Remember we are pirates, and sometimes piratey language issues forth ( although I didn't really find it that offensive, having one of those mentionned items myself ;) )

Anywho I find large projects can be completed by buying the required pieces in batches to complete certain sections, therefore stretching the total cost for the project out over a longer period of time.

Well, as much as it is part of life, I have to say I find it very much offensive. So could Mr.Phes please delete these posts and edit Admiral Starwind's original post that's causing this controversy. Also Mr.Phes, have you considered his type of thing is not supposed to be brought up at all in conversation? so i think these posts should be deleted and the original post Admiral Starwind smade should be edited. Afterall, Isn't eurobricks supposed to be "Family Friendly"? And keeping it that way should be a top priority. A that means using strict editation to keep things "Family Friendly" for everyone, wich would mean editing something if someone finds said word or phrase offensive. Don't you agree Mr.Phes?
