Waterloo (18 June 1815)

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

Today I post for the first time a creation on the Forum. As I said in my brief description, I am passionate about history and thus was born this scene of the Battle of Waterloo.

Waterloo! Waterloo! Waterloo! Morne plain!

Like a wave that end in an urn too full.

In your circus of woods, hills, valleys,

The pale battalions death mingled the dark.

Victor Hugo

Famous defeat of the "Northern Army" commanded by the Emperor Napoleon against the British in Wellington and Blücher's Prussians.

Thanks to Courleciel a member of Brickpirate's Forum for his technique of crater! ( http://brickpirate.net/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=6509 )

I hope you will like it! You can find this Moc in my Flickr gallery ;)

Good day!

I'm interested in this era of history too, and this is exactly how I pictured it, With dead bodies all over the shop, great job! :pir_laugh2:

This is one of my favorite battles to learn about and I think that you captured the feel for it. The destroyed cannon with the French troops in retreat and some craters from cannons look really nice. Using the feather for smoke coming out of a musket also looks really good. I can't wait to see more MOCs from you!

So are those torsos custom made? or what sets are they from?

I believe they are custom. :pir-classic:

A very accurate MOC TheBrickAvenger! Thanks for sharing. I look forward to your future builds!
