Vindicare Posted June 9, 2011 I'm assuming this isn't coming to the States? This should've been an early year release, has anyone seen his? Is it a Wal-Mart "Special Edition", may e? I don't look there for Lego, so maybe I just missed it...
Dhivael Posted June 9, 2011 I haven't seen anything about it hitting in the states yet. I'm hoping to see it in the late summer/fall lineup.
Vindicare Posted June 9, 2011 I haven't seen anything about it hitting in the states yet. I'm hoping to see it in the late summer/fall lineup. Oh? I thought it was released in the last wave. I saw a review here. Not sure what country though. My city needs more than one stoplight.
Dhivael Posted June 9, 2011 Oh? I thought it was released in the last wave. I saw a review here. Not sure what country though. My city needs more than one stoplight. I've seen folks in SE Asia seem to have it. I can't speak to Europe, but it's not yet available in the states, so my guess is that it'll be later this year. At least I'm really hoping. This is the one city set (excepting the pet store) I wanted out of this year.

At least I'm really hoping. This is the one city set (excepting the pet store) I wanted out of this year. All the rumors I've heard about when it's coming to the U.S. have said August. I'm hoping it shows up in the Summer Shop At Home catalog.

LEGO Guy Bri Posted June 9, 2011 I gave up and ordered 2 from Taiwan. I know its available in most of Europe. All we can do is hope and wait
meyerc13 Posted July 24, 2011 This set is finally available in the US, from WalMart.com for $24.97. When this didn't show up with the first police sets, my hunch was it would be a Wal Mart exclusive, much like the limo/helicopter last year. It looks like I may have been right. This time I'm not going to drag my feet picking up this set, because the limo was sold out around me before Christmas and never restocked.

sharky Posted August 25, 2011 (edited) Just a quick note. I finally spotted this in the flesh at my local Walmart. Took them long enough. Also, it is on the US S@H site, obviously. Edited August 25, 2011 by sharky
22kane Posted August 25, 2011 Yeah, I just saw this the other night at my local Wal- mart.
meyerc13 Posted August 25, 2011 I picked it up last week at the LEGO store at the Mall of America. It's a fun set to build. The construction of both of the cars is quite interesting. I especially like how they carry the dark gray color of the frame through to the rear of the car. I think the set is a tad overpriced, but not terribly so. For what you get, it is equivalent to the 8402 Sports Car ($10) plus the 7236 Police Car ($6) plus a $5 set for the three wheeler. So $20 would have felt better, but $25 isn't bad. The Blue Brick Posted August 25, 2011 Finally, my local Walmart just got them in. I checked last week and they didn't have them.
HighFlyer Posted September 5, 2011 This set has been available in the UK since late December, but I haven't got it (as much as I like the cars) - it's just way to expensive for what you get.
