My local store finally said that the queen/lego employee wave had production issues. The parts were only sent to 1 store in my state. Would've been nice to know a while ago. Not sure if this affects anyone outside the US.

Is that a black CS torso on your story???

Also want to know this! Can't decide if it's black or dark blue. Looks like an odd mix of the two! To be honest, I'd love a dark blue classic space figure, but the lack of airtanks and helmet would drive me mad!

That's a shame! I was thinking of heading out this weekend to try and find them.

ETA: Oh, just seen the other images and the torso looks like dark blue.

My thoughts exactly, I don't really want LEGO to keep piecemealing CS colours so I'd hope it's black. That'd be great as that colour is so hard to find with the gold still intact, even the 2009 reissue is expensive so it'd be nice to have

Posted (edited)

Its a pitty the previous wave of BAM (with the queen and that employee torso) never made it to any of my local stores, I would have loved to get some of those black employee type torsos.

New BAM seems interesting with the dark blue CS torso and some Dreamzzz stuff that looks neat (and which I wont be getting otherwise unless I buy from the online PaB)

Thanks cacacolito.

Regarding the Dreamzzz parts, I've posted in the Dreamzzz 2024 thread explaining how the parts relate to each Dreamzzz character for those not familiar with the theme.

Good job, it's a very good guide to be able to assemble them, I have them assembled the same way you explain. The only thing I needed to get were the legs Zoey

Dark Blue

That's cool but incredibly weird. If LEGO produced all the parts for a classic space person in a new colour for BAM that'd be one thing, but doing an all new colour for the torso when the air tanks and helmet don't exist in that colour is odd. I hope it's not another situation like the purple one where the torso comes in one thing and the air tanks and helmet come out later.

Black would've made sense since they've done the air tanks and updated helmet in black recently, but not the torso.

I don’t know anything about Dreamzzz but the dark blue space torso is apparently meant to represent a jumper that Mr Oswald wears under a lab coat. In any case, I didn’t see any of these parts at the BAM station in Battersea, London yesterday, so no early release here sadly.

I called my local store yesterday about whether they had the Q3 figures, including the green queen. They said only the two stores with printing stations had them, one of which is a Legoland Discovery Center about ten minutes from me. I tried that today, and there was very little. A couple of the horse riding torsos and a few more of the helmet/hair combos. Also a couple of the pink beanie with blonde hair. But no green queens or LEGO store employee torsos. I asked and they said they hadn't had any of the green queens in for a few weeks, so clearly a small batch delivered and it didn't last long. There were loads of the Q2 figures though.

No sign of any of the new ones from this week, although the Barcelona store does seem to put them out first/early.

Well as mentioned above and earlier in this thread it is meant to represent the clothes Oswald is wearing under his lab coat and since they are blue since the beginning, the colour was pretty much preset ;).

In the end it was likely just meant to be a little nod towards classic space as I don´t think that anyone would have thought they would make a version without the lab coat at any time, since usually you get the dreamworld versions in the sets - I mean we don´t even have him in the Lab coat as minifigure yet.

Well, and given there are quite some classic space fans working at Lego, I would bet that we will get the helmet and airtanks sneaked in some sets as they did with the purple one.

Clearly the idea was that this way we could get the characters in their real-world "civvie" identities, whereas their powered-up Dream World identities are found in the sets.

I happened to be in Berlin which is my last stop of my European vacation (after London, then Vienna). I completely forgot that the current BAM is not available in the USA and only here in Europe. I was able to get most of the BAM items from the Berlin store. Notably, the green queen torso is only available if you ask one of the associates, and then he asks his manager. I got every minifig except the black uniform Lego employee which I forgot to ask about. It is currently Sunday now so they are already closed and I am flying out tomorrow.

Agreed. I’m really glad to have DreamZzzz heroes in thier real-world clohtes. We alread have the real-world Cooper, PJ Jayden and PJ Nova so I have been waiting for Mateo, Zoey, Mr. Oz, and Izzie come up in thier normal clothes. I need them for my city.

and these DreamZzz character are NOT boring…..
