Zarkan Posted September 4, 2006 This is really looking great, Exo-champ. Who knows, it could become the standard for Exo-force wargaming... That is, if it compares to all the zillion other Exo-force games in production. X-D ~~END~~
EXO-CHAMP Posted September 5, 2006 Thanks. I'm currently trying to get the Lego companys attention, but if that fails i'll try to make it free-ware. However that presents a lot of trademark issues...
Darth_Ewok Posted September 8, 2006 OOOOOOH yeah :-| The reason they had to create brikwars was to keep Lego wars alive becuase Lego was getting them for using their name. :-/ Call it Mech wars or something and don't use the words exo, force or lego Edit: You guys have convinced me, I have to add to the endless exo-force games! I'll write an exo force expansion for Brick Conquest (my wargame.) I already have a classic space expansion, a vehicles supplement and I'm working on a star wars expansion. :-)
EXO-CHAMP Posted September 9, 2006 When fighting your battles you will soon find that simply bashing the enemy to pieces, gets old at some point. You might want to introduces some objectives to fight over. Here's two examples: Ryo is checking a Comm Relay Antenna: A Devastator and two Iron Drones are guarding an Air Radar (Note the Sonic Phantom markings):
EXO-CHAMP Posted September 11, 2006 Hello all. During the weekend me and some of my buddies got in a few games of Exo-Dice (my homemade game). Here's the forces pitched against each other: Gate Defender tries to outflank the robots supported by Stealth Hunter: Simon who played the humans got a little careless with the Stealth Hunter and it came under fire from 2/3 of the robot forces: Due to some bad dice rolling and being without the Support of the Stealth Hunter. The humans are cut down one by one: In the end, only Ryo stands against two Fighting Furys: We played 3 battles and the robots won 2. The forces were evenly matched and it was up to tactics and dice-rolls to determine the outcome.
