Parrothead Rasmus Posted May 18, 2011 I've been waiting for TLG to release a new one (maybe with a Lobot and Lando!), but they haven't so, so I made this one. Middle engine thingy is a bit to big, but, whatever. Here's the actual for comparison... Comments and feedback would be mighty appreciated.
XimenaPaulina Posted May 18, 2011 Very nice slope usage, it really captures the 'tricky' curvaceous shape of the twin pods. Good job!
Hemul Posted May 18, 2011 I really like this !Good work!
Brickdoctor Posted May 18, 2011 Not bad. It's instantly recognizable. Don't think I'd consider it a substitute for the set, though, because it doesn't fit a minifig.
lightningtiger Posted May 18, 2011 Excellent mini design there 'Parrothead Rasmus', I agree with everyone so far you have caught the shape perfectly. May the brick be with you always !
Parrothead Rasmus Posted May 18, 2011 Thanks everybody! Brickdoctor, I didn't mean for it to be a replacement. Just if anyone was dying to get one and can't justify paying $70 for it on eBay or Amazon, here's another option. That's all.
Mr Man Posted May 18, 2011 Amazing Parrothead Rasmus, it's funny how its only slightly smaller than the atchual set yet now midiscale, just goes to show how small the real set was.

Darth Yogi Posted May 19, 2011 Nice build for the scale. I think this is probably closer to midi rather than mini. Great job
