Old LEGO pirate sets with new minifigures and accesories

HI mates:

Like i have said several times, old LEGO pirate sets are better than the new wave, but minifigs and some accesories like cannons, are better. So i am making photos of old sets with new minifigs and accesories...I posted Rock Island Refuge in the lego pirate photos thread and someone told me "this thread isn't for that kind of photos" so, i open a new thread for Skull Eye's Schooner with new tripulation

Nice. I've been updating all my old sets. Not just adding new accessories and mini figures  but adding more detail to them so they look more modern while still retaining the original look. I've also replaced all my yellowed pieces for new ones and those that weren't available from Lego anymore got a bath of Hydrogen Peroxide 3% so they look like new again.

Just kidding, I'm just a stickler for not combining old and new sets. (Mostly)... 

I like it, and the new figures give a little more realism to the older, rougher-around-the-edges sets!
