I don't know if you're interested, but I've seen some used ones on eBay not selling so high. (One even at $99 I think). They appear like every three months, I would say... In my case, luckily I found out about these guys before it was too late, in 2008 (it actually took me out of my short dark ages!), and managed to get one at a high but fairly reasonable price.
