scale 1:16 8x8 Panther(rosenbauer) MA1 WIP

Recommended Posts

@ Rosenbauer: Welcome to Eurobricks! :classic: Your fire truck looks good so far. I like your use of the BIG 24x43 tires. Can you tell us more about your MOC? Will it have a water cannon?

Also, "Rosenbauer" (in German) means "Rose Farmer" in English. Is "Rosenbauer" a manufacturer's name?

Rosenbauer is indeed a manufacturer of fire fighting equipment, they also supply chassis'/cabs to other fire apparatus manufacturers around the world.

i have the privilege of living near an airport that uses them :)

ff a new update got me stones ingested that I ordered.

so here a few changes (The half round stones on the top side replaced by gray, black diagonal replaced by darkgray) and then could not resist making everything as just as it should be built.

I think it's very well done I hope you also

later!

That is quite an impressive water cannon for a LEGO truck. The only problem with such a huge scale (apart from running out of bricks) is the speed.

What you have shown so far looks great. Now you have the hardest part in front of you: the rounded cockpit.

When I did my Rosenbauer (also with working water canon, yay!) I simply built an older and more angled Titan, which was much easier :)

So good luck!

PS. Need a free video converter that doesn't watermark? The just ask.

Thanks for your comment.

Indeed you are right, the compressor should provide enough air and the bottle tightly sealed ..

even that did not have much to go far .. :sceptic:

So I have a tube in there made with a smaller hole.

I like this model is a challenge to make it as beautiful as possible

The curve is indeed the worst part to do, SO i started at the back

haha yes the watermark is quite annoying that there will be placed. what one do you recommend?

I recommend Handbrake video converter. It allows you to set a lot of parameters, but the predefined settings are usually OK for want you want to convert to.

Good luck on the cockpit.

As shown recently on The Lego Car Blog, here is a Lego Technic Rosenbauer Panther 8x8 Crashtender firetruck with HRET (High Reach Extendable Turret). Made by hypoXXL/ Hypo, it is VERY DETAILED. The

shows it in action, and many more pictures are on Hypo's Brickshelf gallery.

That is an awesome model. You captured the looks perfectly, gave it a lot of great functions and a working water pump. Couldn't be much better

I saw the video on youtube a while ago and i am impressed! So many functions and details. How doe people make water pumps in lego? Especially such powerful ones like this?
