I'd like to comment but I cannot see it. Use Flickr or deeplink to the pics directly if you must use BS.

Thanks for fixing the pics.

The kilt (it is not a "skirt' Cpt B.) is really well constructed. Did you use the pattern from the CM3-Hula Girl?

The use of the hat is interesting and overall you have taken great pains with your painting. I wonder why you painted the muzzle of the musket white? Wouldn't black make it look more like it was actually a gun barrel?

Oh, and the shoulders look really bare. Perhaps epaulettes in white or gold?

I just looked at a photo on google :imperialguard_commander1: I had a load painted white tipes and i must have taken a gun from the pile lol, i was thinking about putting a epaulattes on him, i have a red one with white stripes? Thanks for the suggestions :pir-classic:

The minifig itself looks great but the second hat looks like a skunk :pirate_sad2: The first one doesn't really match the fig.

The hats could really use some work.

Thanks for sharing :pir-classic:

Yeah, the fur looks a bit too bushy. I have seen a lot of people use two tires, have you seen that?

I like it. the only thing that bugs me has to be the Kilt though, it looks good, but it looks very papery? I'm not sure how I feel or what can be done about that I've never really done any Minifig modding so I might be complaining about something that can't be fixed. but I think it looks good and a very good representation of your reference pictures.

Good that you finally managed to post pictures here

It's a rather nice minifig, and you did well on the customizing. I only think that the torso doesn't match the coats on the pictures very well.

It's perhaps the best fitting torso from the library, but perhaps it's better to modify it yourself a bit.

On the picture the coat has more buttons, and every button has this white or yellow around it.

Good luck!

Looks nice. The kilt is better (though it's perhaps nice to print one of those small bags on it) and I think the hat is good too.

The torso could also use a little work to make it look more like the picture of the real-life soldiers.

But you did a good job

Ah yes the bag on the kilt, i will work on that now  and i took the black strap thing off the torso but i think i should get rid of the blue and try white then it will look like the ref-pictures :pir-classic: Thanks!

A much improved hat! The other one was slightly hectic but this is brilliant. You should make a scottish army complete with different clan uniforms for each clan!

Your higlander (hereby dubbed Derek in my mind) keeps getting better with every update! You could tie a tartan bag on the bagpipe for the bit with the air in it (Official master for bagpipe terminology :pir_laugh2: ).
