the excavator is kind of hard to say, i think the excavator is based on a hew holland excavator

the cab on the excavator is wrong to those in real life so its hare to say which one it is

Apart from thing like the space shuttle and the new unimog I don't they are modelled off any one particular version/make and model of said equipment. For example for the excavator I guess they would take lots of pictures of lots of different ones and kinda meld them all together into what is most recognisable as a generic excavator. As for scale, that depends on, among other things, the budget for each individual set, and so is always changing.

8043 looks very similar to a Komatsu PC 650:

i think it i a volvo, my dad is a sales representator, so i too, see a lot of volvo's

the back isn't much volvo, more like a every crane, but if you look at the cab, the shapes are really resembling i say like a volvo ec 210

Volvo EC 460C may be an even better fit:

samsung volvo is the same thing volvo build the samsung

the one i showed is a older type i choose this one because of the cab rounding in it

The 8043 was definitely modelled after a JCB JS330...check out the similarities! Bold horizontal black lines across the side of the hull, is unmistakably JCB, also for that air vents on the side. The use of the flexible axles for the cab's pillar also mimics a typical JCB cabs, slighty rounded at the front.

The 8265 was modelled after a Komatsu no doubt about it, however a WA600 to be precise...notice the shape of the walkway on the side which goes to a downward slope leading to the engine bay and the hand railings.
