Little Deaths: EB server issues

Recommended Posts

Hi, I see this thread hasn't been added to for years but for a few weeks now now I've been consistently having connection issues - possibly 90% of the time I try to load/reload a page on Eurobricks I get an error message that the server has unexpectedly dropped connection - it only happens with this website and is immensely frustrating.

Anyone able to offer any advice on this?

Thanks!

Over he past several days I have noticed that EB is sometimes running very, vvveeerrryyy slow, to the point I cannot use it.

Anybody else having issues?

I'm not having any issues; it's slow-ish but not any slower than the rest of the web on my connection. I've got 57Mbps download and I'm running Firefox Quantum (version 60.0.2). How about you?

The only thing that is slow is EB... not connection or browser (maybe)

Thanks for replies anyway.

I am experiencing this as well. I'm in Canada and running on Chrome.

You can try doing a tracert www.eurobricks.com and see if a router along the way is slowing things down.

As of lately, Eurobricks reminds me of old dial-up webpages and I often just give up on trying to load a post.  Did something change with some technical feature for this site?

It's kind of sad since I have the fastest internet in my area (300mbps) until "they" run new cabling.

Site works fine for me.  Try a different browser and see if there's any difference as a first troubleshooting step.

You could try a traceroute to see if you have a slow network router somewhere along the way here.
