"Countless neon advertisements advertise things the people could never afford..."

Not only can't afford, but I'm assuming they can't even read the ads either since they're in Japanese!

Great crime story and MOC, nice and cluttered it really looks like the minifigs are miserable.

What head is on this figure on the right side of this picture (black suit, white tie), it looks a lot like Ed Harris!: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Alopex/cyberpunk/p1040695.jpg

I simply love this futuristic build! Great backstory, and even better construction of this run-down structure with elements perfectly suited to the description of the period. I like the use of those trans-pieces for the futuristic holo-neon ads, but like what Dr.Nightmare pointed out, did the Japanese invade London in this Neo-world? Excellent job effectively conveying the message of this build Alopex!

Wow this is exactly the feel I was trying to get when I was making my cyberpunk MOCs! Great work this is awesome I love all of the transparent signs and the whole ghetto futuristic idea of the whole thing! :sweet:

Wow, I get interesting vibes from this - cyberpunk, future-shock, "Blade Runner-esque," apocalypse future... I could probably sling buzz words all day.

There are some neat details, but to the criticisms - the pictures are not that good. If you still have this, try some pics with natural of artificial light. The MOC is better than the pics let us see. :cry_sad:

Thanks for the comments!

Neo-London is basically a slum built outside London for the huge amount of immigrants, that's why there are so many foreign advertisements. I planned them to be Chinese (Like in Blade Runner) But I don't have any Chinese stickers...

I think it's colonel Dovchenko's head...

I love this creation. William Gibson is one of my favorite authors, Blade Runner is one of my favorite movies (and DADoES is an incredible book), and this MOC reminds me of the worlds created in those works. I actually think the quality of the photos adds to the future noir theme of the work.

Thanks guys!

I'm happy so many of you compared my MOC to Blade Runner, it's one of my favourite film's.

Some of the photos are supposed to be dark and grainy, I think it really adds to the atmosphere of the MOC.

This was just the introduction, More shall come...
