It seems like the hands are not placed in the arms correctly.

Use the Studio 2.0 download button to get the version that works in Studio 2.0 and the OMR download button to get the LDraw version. Please note that the standard for inline texmaps is not finalized for LDraw, so I can't really say that this model is OMR compliant.

I've updated the files for 10194 Emerald Night

49878030908_9f88e248d7_c.jpg

Emerald Night Complete by Duq, on Flickr

I downloaded the file to use it for the new Trains banner but found it had a number of issues:

  • Missing stickers
  • Some wrong parts (like tiles without groove)
  • Some wrong positions (front bogie for example, and the side of the boiler)
  • The odd ghost part and missing part
  • All positions were fractions instead of integers, probably caused by the export from LeoCad

All of that is fixed. I also updated the minifigs' the faces and hair as those parts are now available.

The mpd files can be downloaded here: https://github.com/Duq42/ldraw-models/tree/master/trains/10194

Hello everyone,

I did a bit of support for Bluebrick with Alban Nanty a few weeks back, and the nostalgia of re-creating digital sets of official Lego models inspired me to at least make a small contribution after many years away.  I need to check up on the OMR compliance, I don't think that even existed the last time I did this.

For a bit of fun I put the render on the cover of the original instruction manual:grin: I left the resolution of the render set to high, so it stands out properly.

LDR File 1974-1 Flyercracker USA - Theme: Classic Town  (Made in Studio 2.1.12 and exported to Ldraw to conform with the rules)

1974-1%20Flyercracker%20USA%20render%20o

Errors:

  • None...
  • ...although I couldn't open it in MLCad, but it works fine in LeoCad, any suggestions? (edit 12.1.2021, problem is fixed)

I am not sure if and how often I can continue to contribute in future, but as I noticed this thread had been quiet for a while I thought I could maybe help to get things going again. I wish you guys the all best for the coming year!

@Legolijntje, I noticed you pointed out that the links to my old LDR files no longer work. I think those models will have been reposted by other members over the last 10 years, feel free to send me a PM to let me know what I should do.

Would it be possible to upload the Studio files as well or instead of the current allowed formats or would that become too complicated?

Looks like the dinosaur MLCad doesn't like that the submodels don't carry a file extension... You have to add a .ldr to each submodel file name and reference.

I too would like to know if this thread is still maintained and indexed. I posted my latest models only on LDraw forum https://forums.ldraw.org/forum-17.html

Hi Philo,

thanks so much for your input. The file works now and I uploaded it again. I will check the compatibility for any future models I make.

Did anyone happen to download all the models that were in this thread??   I'm specifically looking for the 4506 "Deep Sea Creatures" models which had 9 possible builds.  Unfortunately, if you have never built them its an incredibly frustrating assortment of parts because you can ALMOST build most of them without overlap and then just a few parts are used.  The instructions do not make it obvious which models can be built simultaneously.

I did already check the Ldraw forums.

Thanks.

I see that 60018, 4434 existed in the past.

Can someone recover and provide it to me?

And ideally if you have model for recycling truck from 60292.
