probably misplaced arms (annoying lack of accuracy persisting! :D

Practical tip: colour the 3-fingered one as transparent, you’ll then see if the articulation bumps match the holes.

Theoretical tip: the articulation points are at 12 LDU from the centre of the part. That means two 3612.dat correctly connected are at 24 LDU from each other.

thanks, excellent tip, i tried it right now! good one! :) - i’m going to create some templates for speeding up the process for the next ones!

(and btw, where from can we find those missing maxifig hats and wigs? they are really missing... )

and what LDU is? (is it related with xyz coordinate units, or something like that?)

656 - Car and Caravan [1974]

errors:  wrong transparent 2x4 slope brick (a quite unusual one, i guess - http://peeron.com/inv/parts/x453 );

And yes, about all LDraw applications use them in their UI.

LDU is the LDraw unit which is setup so bricks/plates use integer coordinates in relation to their real life measurements. 8LDU == plate height, 20LDU is distance between 2 studs, 20LDU == ~8mm

I corrected the 212 scooter minifig arms using LDCad's snapping (wanted to check the snap info on them :) ), you can probably use it as a reference for the other models:

errors: probably misplaced parts (quite difficult model... i also use that transparency tip)

I had a quick look, parts placement seem quite good!

i tried my best, thanks... my struggle was fitting those yellow 4x8 plates into 3145.dat and 3436.dat, in that 30º angle (or something like)

a question: what is the difference between http://peeron.com/scans/653-1/1/ and http://peeron.com/scans/460-1/1/ ? (which means, if i posted 460, can 653 be considered posted as well, if both are exactly the same?)
