noname Posted August 22, 2010 (edited) This is the first MOC in a series of castle-fantasy MOCs. I've built it about a month ago. MOCpages link A showcase, showing the newest and the finest armor and weapons in the kingdom. The roof is detachable. The Interior: The Minifigures: From left to right: the training dummy, the mannequin, the shopkeeper. A half-elf (half elven? half elvish?) druid, A prototype of my sigfig (Legolas), an archer and a half-orc(ish) warrior. That's it. lightningtiger Posted August 22, 2010 Not bad at all 'noname' - nice and simple design building - plenty of weapons....plenty of customers ! Pity about that one roof slope - I guess that gap lets the rain in ! Nice designing there 'noname' and I'm a conformist! !

I didn't have a 3x4 slope except for this one, but I had two 3x2 slopes which I wanted to put, but eventually I picked the broken slope to make it more realistic. ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted August 22, 2010 One thing I would advise is to you is to push all the pieces down because some of them are sticking up. Otherwise, it looks like a great start!
Joey Lock Posted August 22, 2010 Wouldn't it be safer for the Axeman to fight else where? Incase of splinters of even the Archer messes the shot up!
noname Posted August 22, 2010 Wouldn't it be safer for the Axeman to fight else where? Incase of splinters of even the Archer messes the shot up! You got it all wrong! The mannequin is attacking the orc, not vice versa. One thing I would advise is to you is to push all the pieces down because some of them are sticking up. Otherwise, it looks like a great start! I've noticed that only after I posted it, and the MOC was disassembled for parts three weeks ago. Thanks.
Millacol88 Posted August 22, 2010 Good little MOC. It's a shame you've already disassembled it, a few minor changes could make this really good. I think a brown or bley and dark bley checkerboard floor would have worked better than a black one, and the outside looks a little bare. It would look less plain if you added some more plants or maybe another minifigure. Really good MOC though.

Thank you, but I don't have enough pieces to make a checkerboard-tiled floor, or wood flooring (brown tiles). I agree with you- the outside is a bit bare. I noticed this too, but like the broken roof piece I wondered if it was deliberate or not - it gives it a run-down appearance, and adds character. There's a new method for you to try on your historic MOC building boys & girls! After all, they certainly didn't have the same building regulations back then as we do now. rakky Posted August 26, 2010 I thought it looked pretty cool, a good choice of minifigures as well, gave it a dungeons and dragons feel to it.

noname Posted August 28, 2010 What set is that orc head from? From the Harry Potter set 4712 "Troll on the Loose". Thee headpiece is this part. And it's a half-orc. Didn't you read the descriptions?
Captain Becker Posted August 28, 2010 And it's a half-orc. Didn't you read the descriptions? Half-orc? I thought it was a zombie or something Anyway great work, i really like the Shop and the figs. But please change the Zombie head into a green orc head wich was in 2007 sets Captain Becker

(By everybody, I mean myself, and by pieces I mean the green orc from the 2007 sets) If I had one of these I would put it here- he looks much better than my version. Although, this troll-head can be used to make another D&D-style monster. Edited August 29, 2010 by noname
XimenaPaulina Posted August 29, 2010 That's a pretty good build for your first MOC noname. Yeah, the design is rather plain and simple, but that's quite understandable considering this is your first MOC and you had to work with limited parts. This is something that you could always build on, improve until you hone your expertise in these types of MOCs. Keep it up and hope to see more of your creations here.
