10214: Tower Bridge

Recommended Posts

LEGO store at Mall of America in Minnesota has the Tower Bridge set in stock and on shelves for sale. Saw it with my own eyes!

My girlfriend got it for me today at a LEGO store here in California.

As Brickapolis said on Flickr:

Marry Her. Totally.

Seriously though, you are lucky! Judging from your other pictures, I think you are more than capable of making a really quality review.

DO IT NOW!

556 tan cheese slopes?! That's an insane amount for just one set! :oh:

4200 parts is a lot of parts. *oh2*

I'm only now starting to work myself toward the end of the 1st of 3 booklets. It feels like I'm barely making a dent in the parts. From a parts perspective $239 is a very good value for what you get.

Thanks for the inventory pic! If you have the time, could you please post a closeup of the printed shield? It looks great!

and that is barely 1/8th of the total set. I still remember when set containing over 500 pieces were considered huge.

Here you go. Both shields have the same design.

Well, it's October 1...and 'Tower Bridge' can't be ordered from Canadian SAH.

Don't know WHY...it's been advertised for two months, along with Winter Village Bakery (which also can't be ordered)...also can't order the three Halloween sets.

WTF????

This is incredible. I'm shocked that LEGO is even making this big of a set. I am more and more amazed at how big LEGO is making sets.

Maybe one day we'll get a life sized set, ok maybe not.

I saw one of these built today at the Brickish show in Swindon.

While its an impressive model it really is crying out for some end towers.

I can see myself buying the set if funds permit (lots of useful parts for me) but cant see it being displayed for too long as its just too big!

There are sets that have more than 5,000 bricks. One has almost 6,000 total...

Just ordered it from lego shop @ home, got £15 discount with VIP points :classic: Now I just need to find some space to build it :sceptic:

Here is a graphic that shows the Lego sets with more than 2500 parts. First, we can notice that all these sets were released in the past 10 years, and that obviously there is a ride towards the biggest.
