Nice design. I like the use of the slopes of the tail and the sand green used. This is much better than lego's new version. It looks so sleek and stylish.

Thanks for sharing this. Great

Very nice, but it really needs the underside having more detail, if you got rid of the dark bluey bricks would it compromise the structure?

No.

But IMO, it looks quite good so, doesn't it ?

It is smooth and there are also greebs. I don't see what I could change. think.gif

So now we have to decide which is better, Junsier's or Anio's?

Nice job, I like yours better for the touches of dark bley and the mass of greebles.

Great work! i especially love the SNOT base and the greebles you added, lookes a lot like the "real" one and much better than TLG one.

Most impressive, especially the bottom. Very nice SNOT!

The SNOT part looks a bit fragile, though. Any problem with falling pieces?

Once again, great job!!

No. It is trong. It is attached with many studs (brick 1x4 and brick 1x1 with stud(s) on side).

Very nice! I love how you did the cockpit; when I was modding my 6209 I used universal joints to get a better cockpit rotation arc...

dsc09922.jpg_thumb.jpg

...and interestingly I thought I was the only person who used that method! (I never finished my MOC as I got obsessed with details like the holding cells and the ion cannon...) If I try again I might just borrow a lot from yours!

There's only one thing I don't like; why the red axle in the universal joints?

:oh3: This is great! The new Slave I is far to expensive and I already have the 2006 version, so I won't be buying it. However, if TLC released a version like this, I wouldn't even consider not buying it. :classic: I'm looking forward to seeing it with the new figures! :classic:

Looks a little cleaner than the real thing...

You might want to check some angles here and there. Still, the sheer size and detail in this is amazing. I'd like to know, though - why is it that the 'fins' on the side of the ship are grey, as opposed to yellow or tan?

No need for new minifigures - the classic LEGO Boba Fett works fine.

Looks great, very nicely done Anio. Votre création est très bonne, Anio.

The SNOT work that you've done at the rear, combined with all of the greebles is a vast improvement over the official versions. The authentic wing function is a nice touch as well. Everything looks really good, in fact the ship looks like it just came off the production line. It's not as beaten up looking as the one from the movie, but other than that it is pretty spot on.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for your comments !

@ fallenangel327 : Sorry, for the angles, I can't do better.

Fot the color of the wings, I will see what I can do. :)

Gotta say this is one of the better Slave 1's I have seen. You can see all the work you put in with the techniques used in the build (snot & rotating cockpit). I don't know if it has been asked yet or if it is a stupid question (especially it being UCS) but is this actual scale with the Boba minifig?

i have to agree it is the best ucs slave1 i have seen it's just the underneath area is not correct in my opinion but i am at a loss as to how to correct it at present, the only idea i have at the mo is a rim of plates instead of the brown slopes, that would give you the upturned dish and be thin enough to greebly to hell around the engines.

@ Cavego & Smack : thak you very much.

That was what I was aiming at. :classic:

@ Smack : yes, the scale is quite correct compared to the Minifig Boba. :)

Otherwise, I never sell my work (it's a matter of principle).

But IMO, it is quite easy to reproduce it with the photos I did, or even the photo I will do.

The system with U-joint is smart, maybe, but is not very complicated.

The only thing I want, as always, it the credit (it's a matter of respect).

@ Cavegod : yeah, the brown slope are not enough angled. But with the parts that TLG produced till today, I thing it is the best I can do.

I definitely refuse to make it with plate or anything else. That would be too ugly.

One more thing : yes, I thing I will do the wings tan.

That will be more realistic. fallenangel327, thank you for the idea. :)
