Doctor Sinister Posted July 13, 2010 The Great Western LEGO Show is the largest display of models built by LEGO fans in the UK. Every year, members of the Brickish Association bring their amazing creations to Swindon and visitors from all over the UK come to be inspired. Click here to go to the official site for this year's show! Dr. S.
Cardinal Brick Posted July 14, 2010 Excellent! As I've just about changed job and don't have to work every weekend any more I think I should be able to make it, looking forward to it as it's been years since I last went to one
Peppermint_M Posted July 14, 2010 So you have to be a member of the Brickish to display there? Looks like I will have to get around to joining then. I will have to see if I could go along and take a look, Swindon is possible to get to but it takes a long while...

I've displayed models at the show several years in a row and even though I don't live in the UK any more I will be there this year as well. I've already booked a few days off work for it and booked a hotel and flights. Cheers, Ralph
Derfel Cadarn Posted July 15, 2010 I've just joined, so that means I can display some mocs right? Do I just turn up with a lorry load of mocs or do I have to organise it with those in the know?
laimonas123 Posted July 15, 2010 Oh, great thing. But I don't think so I can go to this great show. Maybe next time.
Ralph_S Posted July 15, 2010 I've just joined, so that means I can display some mocs right? Do I just turn up with a lorry load of mocs or do I have to organise it with those in the know? You can't expect to just show up on the day with a lorry full of stuff, as there obviously needs to be some space allocated and the organisers would also like to have a degree of control over who is bringing what. You can register separately on the official site that Dr S. provided the link to. I don't know whether your membership application has already been processed, so you might want to wait a few days. If it doesn't work, I'd suggest contacting the organisers through the contact form on the site. I look forward to seeing you there. Cheers, Ralph
