Hey Calabar!

Do we have a search function to search for a set number to see if a certain set is covered in this topic?

I was looking for model 11910 which belongs to a DK book. So I can't search for a specific theme.

I'm currently working on the set with physical bricks by looking at photos (didn't want to buy the book just for the set ), but I would love to upload an LDD-file afterwards.

Hi LegoPegasister2015, welcome in the LDD Official Sets topic and thanks for your contribution.

You entry is quite good, but it need some fixes (clickable links for the lxf files and few other things, I will fix that for you) but the main problem are the images.

According to the topic's rules, the images have to be cropped (remove ALL the borders around the subject, 0-pixel margins) and resized (the maximum size allowed is 512x pixels for very large sets such as castles or modular buildings).

Please fix the images, in the meantime I'll change them in text links.

EDIT:

Good work fixing the images now. The first post is now regular.

The image for the 60130 Prison Island is a bit oversized instead. I'll add the entry as regular, but please fix it as soon as possible.

75827 Firehouse Headquarters - Theme: GHOSTBUSTERS - LXF file

Building errors:

• Black (Plate 2 x 2) (Bricklink) does not attach to Black (Brick, Round 2 x 2 Dome Bottom) (Bricklink).
  
• Reddish Brown (Panel 1 x 4 x 1) (Bricklink) does not attach to Reddish Brown (Plate 2 x 8) (Bricklink) due to an illegal technique used on page 142, step 172 from the instruction manual.
  

Great error report.

The two above where the most serious illegal build IMHO. Specially the second is pretty spectacular. Forcing a 4 length plate edge between studs. Ouch.

Welp, here it is. Arguably the most anticipated set of the year... once again.

10251 - Brick Bank - Theme: Modular Buildings

LXF File <v4.3.9>

Errors:

-Parts 6141 "Plate 1x1 Round" and 15740 "1x1 Decoration Top No. 1" cause a collision error and cannot be placed on top of each other, the latter was ommited. Seen in the decorations above the stain glass.

-As there's a collision error between the parrot and the window pane on the second floor, the filing cabinet needed to be moved.

-The Desk's typewriter utilizes a formerly illegal building technique of connecting clips to tiles. The tile will be floating slightly to accommodate.

-The Chandelier uses an illegal technique of placing an 85651 with a 30153, that was scaffolded.

Missing Prints:

-Any Missing Prints for 23088 "Flat Tile 2x2" are substituted.

-Any Prints for 60803 "Glass for Frame 1x4x6" not substituted.

-Any Prints for 98138 "Flat Tile 1x1, Round" not substituted

-Print for 87079 "Flat Tile 2x4" substituted with a collage of other prints on different sizes of tiles.

-All Missing Minifigure Prints were Substituted.

-18651 connector peg/2M axles aren't available in LDD, replaced with 3M cross axles.

-Brake lights are attached with half pins (and thus flipped around), LDD doesn't let you attach studs to those holes like you should

The link works because I fixed the post browsing your gallery, ADHO.

I've seen you moved some sets, for example these was moved from expanded universe directory to a new rebels directory.

Similar faith for some other super heroes sets (just seen on the fly, not fixed).

Oh okay, well I'm planning another reboot to my LDD sets on Brickshelf (if I get round to uploading them at all and not just using them on my own PC) so it probably won't be the last time...

If people want my sets, they're probably better just browsing my Brickshelf account (I'll add a link in my signature) or PMing me as a few have been doing - that's much more likely to be correct and up-to-date with the sets I build.

Putting this out just once more:

If you want to help a fellow builder out, i'm working on one of the new and huge Technic sets but it requires some flex magic with the ribbed tubes and I'm absolutely terrible with those. Also a little teaser to what it'll be~

Instructions Step 39: the ends of the tubes should attach to the pins next to the engine, I've colored them pink for your convenience

I think I could help out with this soon. :)

EDIT: Never mind. It seems that the tubes in the instructions need to be scrunched at the point where they bend, while LDD will only bend it without scrunching it, so that way they cannot get to the correct angle. I did find that, looking ahead in the instructions, that you can just place the ends s close as possible to those points and it won't affect the rest of the model's build, so just try doing that.
