Previously posted here separately as a pre-release reverse-engineered LXF based on pictures, but now officially released with the instructions made available.

Therefore: here is the complete Horizon Express 'TGV' set as built according to the official instructions.

10233 – Horizon Express – Theme: Creator / Expert (Trains)

Notes:

- Built from instructions with bricks and colours checked against TLG Customer Service site - not checked with actual set.

- Items in the set are grouped in the LXF for user convenience.

- Black Roof Front 6x4x1 (13269) not in LDD - replaced by custom made front consisting of Slope 45 Roof Tile bricks.

- Black cheese slopes 50746 left aside the engine as they do not fit into the black and white arrows ('Pet Shop problem').

- Missing decoration (black frame) on Cockpit Window 62360/13099.

- Minifig body decorations: only dark green sweater and medium blue blouse are correct, other four are best fitting replacements.

- Minifig head decorations: all correct except granddad (best fitting replacement).

- Glass for Frame 1x2x3 (60602) does not attach to Train Window 1x2x3 (4035) in LDD . Replaced with Glass for Train Window 2x3 (4036).

- Black plates 1x4 left hanging under the undercarriages of the wagons due to collision error with Orange Flat Tiles 2x4 (it is possible to fit te plates by adjusting the angle of the orange plates, but then is no longer possible to fit the undercarriage to the wagon due to collision error of Technic Bearing Plates 2x2 with the Orange Chassis Plate 92339.... ).

EDIT 1: Arrows on the sides of the engine fixed, thanks to Superkalle .

EDIT 2: Roof fronts 13269 corrected with LDD 4.3.6.

But I agree - very annoying with the glass in the frame. Strange to see that kind of "common" bug not been discovered before.

Even if these are alternate models of the same set, post that as they was different sets.

Images are a bit oversized (for medium size sets, 512px are many), although still regular.

Nah, seriously, it only took a minute or two. If you move the grey bar behind (63965) slightly to the left or right, you'll see that it snaps sometimes with "half snaps" (well, it's not that easy to see, but it does).

So start by removing all the slopes/clips and then begin the assembly at one end. Move the grey bar around a bit, then try to position the first "pack" of slopes/clips until if fits snugly. If it doesn't, re-adjust the grey bar. Then continue with the next stack and so on.

So that's the trick! I spent ages trying to get it right. I knew it could be done as the same problem was solved for the Pet Shop and the City Hall, but I finally gave up trying as even 3D moving along Technic axles didn't work. Thanks for sharing.

Well, in this case it was, since the grey bar did the "half jump" thingy. In other cases, you might not be so lucky (to be honest, I experimented a bit before I got it). And if all else fails, I always revert to the edit-the-lxfml-file-manually trick.

70006 Cragger's Command Ship - Theme: Legends of Chima

(Bricklink doesn't have most Chima parts up yet, so I can't find part numbers)

All 'headpieces' aren't available - Some left absent, some built with other hairpieces

The piece for the blade on Rawzom's scythe (also used for claws and some teeth) is not available - replaced with part 87747 .

All prints missing

Sword pieces aren't available, but I did include the lightsaber blades inside them - replaced with part 55237i.

Notes:

I couldn't tell which green was used for some cheese slopes and the end of the tail bit, so I just used the normal Green, not the 'Lizard Man/Bag End' light green.

I hope this is ok, and if there are any things I should fix, let me know!

The cheese slopes and the tip of the tail should all be 119 Bright Yellowish Green, which is lighter than either 28 Dark Green (the classic green you used) or 37 Bright Green (the color from the Lizard Man).

In the future, if you're uncertain about the color of a part, you can either check the Brickset inventory (which is all sourced directly from service.LEGO.com, so it should usually be correct) or plug the seven-digit part number from the back of the building instructions into this page's URL. This is the actual page for the parts in the LEGO Customer Service database, and as such it will work even for parts that are missing from the Brickset/Customer Service part inventories because they lack images.

75013 - Umbaran MHC - Theme: Star Wars

43039 will not fit into two of the four 3176

I found out that it's beause of the slight offset/difference of technic holes in technic bricks (the famous one). Because of it, the 92907 CROSS BLOCK is positioned the 0.1 mm too high, and as a result the 3176 COUPLING PLATE won't fit.

But I also found a work-around: Start by placing the 3176, then the short blue pin, then the 92907 and finally the long blue pin. I attached the fix if you want to use it.

On another note: Superkalle, I've checked once more, and the sets I uploaded that you said were lost in the server crash still appear for me. I'm not sure what is going on, but if you want, I will repost those entries anyway. Also, I haven't forgotten about correcting the last few sets I posted. I'll get around to doing that in time for my next post.

I think I saw wrong.... So no problem anymore.
