A truly stunning MOC KimT, really lovely to look at. Well done!

What does fate hold for it now I'm curious?

It's going to live for a while.

I have a few ideas for improvements - after those, it'll get recycled as most LEGO MOC's do.

Extremely impressive MOC KimT. The columns are stunning, as is the size of the whole MOC. Fantastic work !

With so much tan tiles, you have no choices... Next year must be Tatooine related... Or you can also make a Spongebob MOC, but I'm not sure you'll be interrested in it...

Glad brickfoot bumped this! One of my favorite scenes in all the Star Wars films! An absolutely beautiful MOC that you can tell had a lot of heart and soul put into it. I bow to you sir for your dedication and attention to detail. I hope you keep it together forever!

I meant to comment when you first posted this but got distracted

Amazing work and very visually impressive! It looks so clean and well-organised, a real MOC that 'breathes' in terms of space but isn't lacking in detail or execution.

I really like the columns with the bracket technique to hold them all together  They look great.

Great to see a big build from our SW moderator before he finishes his modular Yellow Castle project

Very impressive! I love mocs that are faithful to the original yet add something extra too :)

I've thought about doing this scene myself, but I don't think I could do any better!

Great Job!

Thanks guys

I'll be showing it off again this weekend at "The Star Wars Day" in Taastrup.

I expect to do some new and better pics of it.

The minifigs alone are just stunning, now I know you are the true SW master, and acomplia weight loss that explains your recent order with me. The set by itself is stunning. Although in theroy this cheap generic cialis seems simple since it's a simple structure, but the size and dimensions had to be correct, and you nailed it. I can't imagine how long this took you. I consioder myself a SW LEgo collector but I know who my Master is now. My hat goes off to you, this is an awesome example of what an AFOL can do.

Omg.. Thats amazing!!! I like it!!!

That's one of the greatest MOCs I have ever seen! Really great work there, KimT! I must be awesome to have your own personal creation displayed at Lego World! :classic:

Considering what the Yavin base used to be, it would have been funny if you had added a sub level with an entombed Sith fig.

What? Where?

The Yavin base was built in the ruins of an old Sith stronghold. I'm not saying there would still be a body, it would just be a humorous detail.

Indeed it would.

I might consider doing that, if I was to MOD this thing into something bigger.

Great MOC KimT! I really like that you have gone into the effort of tiling the whole thing and you have also bought so many minifigs just to put into this awesome MOC.

Also, I thought R2 came out after Luke and Han got their medals because he was being repaired :sceptic:

A spectacular MOC! Congratulations! Really amazing smooth look with great detail. I really like the green plants and leafs, placed with great accuracy and an eye for detail. And all those figs...

Only wish that Luke didn't start ahead, wearing his medal when walking towards Leia before he actually gets it. But hey, such torso doesn't exists... :classic:

In the EU universe, sure. Everything has a stupid past in the EU.

Though without a higher contradictory source, it is still canon. (which is not to say I don't think the story a bit on the ridiculous side, but in my opinion it should still be considered the existing past, stupid or not)

This is absolutely stunning, man! I can't really see where you could improve this (maybe add walls between the pillars). I love the multi-level tiling on the pillars and the "vines" are definately accurate to the scene. I can just hear the end music theme in my head!
