What was the last movie you watched?

Netflix' Castlevania series.

At least, I started it. It was pretty good for the first several minutes, a little gory but intriguing, but then it veered away from the horror and just got very coarse and vulgar (gratuitously so) and completely turned me off from it, so I switched it off. It was disappointing.

A double helping of Spider-Man Homecoming...dumb friends who aren't free earlier when you're seeing it with your dad.:look: Ao guy have to see it later with them. At least it was worth it.

These are the movies I watched since June 8, plus one that I forgot from earlier than that.

Wonder Woman

Despicable Me 3

Spider-Man Homecoming

Lion

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

The Red Turtle

The Great Wall

Fast and Furious 6

Moonrise Kingdom

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

5 Centimeters Per Second

Stranger than Fiction

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)

The Cat Returns

Cast Away

Unbreakable

Space Jam

Only Yesterday

Unbreakable would be my favorite out of all these, probably.

Decided on a whim to put in Aliens last night. The Special Edition cut, because the theatrical cut cut so much character building for Ripley.

Dunkirk - phenomenal movie that I can't recommend enough.

Saw this one Yesterday, and I can't echo this statement enough!

The Incredible Hulk (2008). Better than I remembered; while flawed, it was enjoyable enough on rewatch that it has climbed a bit in my MCU rankings.

Before that, April and the Extraordinary World. It was pretty good for what it was, except for the unexplainable presence of

cat nards. Wth?

Got to agree with these guys, it was an incredible movie! I honestly can't understand some of the comments people are moaning about with regards to it. The most laughable one I read recently was "the movie has no plot!" - what?! *huh*

Last I watched was The Grand Budapest Hotel.  There are still a few Wes Anderson films I have yet to get around to watching.

My plan is to see Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets next.

In the theater...Dunkirk.  Amazing, moving...Tom Hardy is my hero!

On tv...Grandma's Boy was on last night so I stopped everything and watched it!

Got round to seeing Despicable Me 3, there were some good parts too it, but the plot felt very simple.

Well yesterday I watched two LEGO movies. First one was DC super hero girls brain drain. I thought it got a little to wacky or meta but then again I might not been the main audience. (I think, I like the regular movies more.) Then I watched Scooby-Doo beach blast bingo (or whatever it was called). That one I was trying to figure out who was the bad guys near the beginning. Plus the DVD does have three bonus Scooby-Doo episodes.

The direct-to-video films are mostly aimed at kids, we are definitely not the target audience. I grab most of them, (since there's a certain amount of enjoyability) but with that in mind.

Since mid-July, I watched the following movies for the first time:

War for the Planet of the Apes
Dunkirk
The Fate of the Furious
Passengers
A Monster Calls
Winter's Tale
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
The Jungle Book (1967)
The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl

Dunkirk was the best one out of these, but I would also recommend you watch Winter's Tale for the sheer bat-megabloks insanity of the story.
