Nighttime once again fell on the town of Stapleton. However, dark deeds were occurring...

100_0481.jpg

Mayor White had just finished with his tour of the new Fire Station.

100_0482.jpg

"Sorry Mayor, but you have to go." said the killer.

"Oh rats. I wonder where my police escort has gone."

*BAM*

100_0483.jpg

"Only one more townie to go, and we win!" the hit man said.

And with that, Mayor Franklin P. White / Zapper Brick was killed. He was a townie.

100_0463.jpg

Elsewhere in town, Steven Gordon / The Crazy One was overlooking the town on his patio deck.

"This town has really gone down hill." he said.

100_0464.jpg

He was unaware of the approaching man with a knife.

100_0465.jpg

"Hey-" Steven tried to say.

100_0466.jpg

However, he was killed. He was a townie as well.

100_0477.jpg

The remaining townies assembled in the Village Square the next day.

"Where is everyone?" asked the Governor.

100_0478.jpg

"Sorry we're late!" said Sarah Wolf / Tiny Pies R Us

Trailing her was John Wilder / Big Cam, and Jimmy Palmer / Simonjedi100_0479.jpg

"We're here as well." said Rhonda Falzone / Dragonator.

Following her was Robbie Willis / WhiteFang and Dr. Ernie Wilkerson / Ricecracker.

Oh this is terrible! Not only have we made a horrible mistake yesterday and killed the only person who was actively helping look for the mobsters, but now we have lost our mayor and poor Andrew has lost his dear father! We must convict a mobster today, it may be our last chance to do so. We must think very carefully and not rush our voting, as this could be the turning point for our town going off what that dastardly killer said to the mayor.

This is all so overwhelming, I am going to go have a lie down for the morning to try and settle my jumpy nerves. I'll need to be in a concentrated frame of mind come the voting.

Damnit. Damnit, damnit damnit. I thought, finally we have one. But no, I had to be wrong again. :cry_sad:

I really don't trust your story from yesterday. Evidently the scum didn't either, as they didn't kill you last night.

Unless, of course, you are the scum hitman, and that's why you were late.

We can now reason that there are indeed three killers (one who uses a sword, one who uses a knife, and one who uses a revolver.) We also know that two of those killers (the two who struck last night) are among the six who were late today. Which means we must vote off one of them.

We must be careful, though, as we could just as easily kill our town vigilante, investigator, or blocker as the scum hitman. :sceptic:

Oh! Steven, no!!! :cry_sad:

Bastards. Wilkerson, if you really are claiming to be the vigilantie, than you take responsibility for killing my husband??!! I'll kill you myself!

But before I do, there is some business to attend to. You lot voted of Mr. Right yesterday... what the hell did I tell you?! I know who I'm voting for today, so I suggest you people actually listen for once and do what's right. We can;t afford another day without voting off a scum. So listen carefully, and when the time comes, vote.

Everyone followed Ryan's bandwagon yesterday. He was threatened, and I admit, I would've defended myself against Mr. Right as well. But, Ryan clearly has something to hide with his trash can and booze. I'm sure that some of his goons followed him right into that vote yesterday as well.

Whatever, I know who to vote for. Do something right for a change, people, or sit here and die. :hmpf_bad:

My bandwagon? The DA voted for me, I voted for him in return, it was everyone else who turned it into a bandwagon. If you look over the discussions of yesterday you'll see that I did nothing to urge the town this way or that, if the DA had removed his vote for me I would have removed mine for him.

I understand that people make mistakes, but why my husband? What did he do to to make you kill him? Yesterday you two were on the same bandwagon. And if you are the good killer, why are you still alive if everyone knows it?

I'm sure you would've. Yet, no one followed Mr. Right that time, so you were hardly threatened. I'm sure the assistance of your fellow mobsters helped sway the vote as well...

I just felt that he would sometimes act like scum, though clearly I was wrong.

I honestly don't know. Probably to frame me.

Wilkerson, if you are on the town, there is no doubt in my mind that the scum would have killed you last night (because of you claiming to be the vigilante). Which is why I strongly suspect you of being scum. It just doesn't add up: you afmit to being the town's killer, and then the scum doesn't target you? No sense.

John Wilder, Robbie Willis, and Ernie Wilkerson all were late today and voted for Mr. Right because he was a threat to them. I'm highly suspious of you, Wilkerson. You still have a lot to explain. :sceptic:

It makes perfect sense. You are doing exactly what they wanted the town to do. I think they let me live because they saw that I was trying to vote off a townie (Mr. Right), and then they let me live so that they could frame me tonight, claiming that I was killed which must mean I am scum.

Think about it the other way too, if I were the scum killer, the town killer would probably went after me last night instead. I realize that since only two killers struck, you could claim I was blocked, but I killed Steve Gordon with my surgical knife.

I'm highly suspious of you, Wilkerson. You still have a lot to explain. :sceptic:

Really? It'd help if you told me what needed explaining... :hmpf:

Addit: I meant wasn't killed in the third sentence; first paragraph.

Oh my graces! What have we done?! First we(not including me  ) vote off Mr. Right, an the "Vigilante" killes an innoccent! And of course so does the Mafia! Now the shcum only need to off one more innoccent before we're all doomed! In all this confusion, I see some sides forming, or atleast unearthing themselves...

I don't know who to trust, I am pretty sure that the hobo isn't guillty of anything aside from sleeping on a public bench  , but then again I'm not certain. The vigilante thing is viable, but I'm not sure about that either. Oh shoot, I wish Mr. Right were still here to convince people that he was right. :hmpf_bad:

I'm kinda veering towards the vigillante/schum, but then again he's already admitted to being the Vig, and no one has disclaimed him...

Tragic... Real tragic.... I had seriously mistaken about the DA... and results in comminting my biggest mistake in this game of life...

*Looking up in the sky*

Matthew Right, I was wrong and I am sorry for my terrible actions...

I can't believe that we have not nailed any scums each day. Where could they be hiding... Where is our Town Investigator when we need him/her so badly... Losing the Mayor is not good news to me as he was one of the few whom I really trusted and right now I don't trust many of you anymore, with a few exceptions.

Looking back at last night, only 2 out of 3 killers striked, and one thing for sure, Dr. Wilkerson has claimed itself as the town vilgilate, and till this moment, no one has said otherwise or claim that position. I don't deny the fact that I have something to do in the night, but my night action is used for other agenda to find out something, mainly gathering intel for something else, and the info which I have received is extremely limited/useful... That's my explaination which I think I can reveal so far. Nurse Roy can justify my statement as he have seen me in action and what I am capable of.

We are down to 14 citizens, and we don't know for sure how many idiotic scums are there hiding among us before they outnumbered us.. I need to think through once more, and please if anyone of you have useful information to share, kindly do share it with us. We are running out of time, and we can't convict anymore loyal citizens...

Officer Wilder was investigating the car that ran over Martin Jackson a few nights ago.

I was there to open and close the garage for him.

I've reasoned that there must be 7 scum we are dealing with. There are 14 players left, and that one killer said that if one more townie dies, the scum wins. If a townie dies we will have 13 players left, therefore 7 scum. This is a bit higher than our original guess of six. :sceptic:

Its a tricky situation we are in. We have to vote (if we don't the scum have all but won), but if we vote to hastily and lynch a townie, the scum have won.

It was lunchtime in Stapleton, and the townies went to go and eat. However, when they returned, they saw the recently replanted tree was on fire.

100_0484.jpg

"Oh great, do we even have a fire department?" someone asked.

100_0485.jpg

The firemen arrived, and put the small fire out. However, it was too late. The tree had fallen.

100_0488.jpg

"Choose wisely with your decisions today. The wrong lynching could have awful results..." the Governor said.

With that, the townies went off to go and vote.

It will take 8 votes to convict today. There is currently 72 hours left in this day. Choose wisely...

If there were 7 scum, this game of life would be over. We've already seen that there is a serial killer, who would be neutral, and that would mean that 7 scum would outnumber us. I think the arrival of 7 people is symbolically representing that there are only 7 townies left, though I suspect that some of the late arrivals are, in fact, scum. I do not think that any voice in the sky with even the slightest bit of normal hosting ability would put all of the scum together, that would be completely silly, plus I know I'm not one. Could the other 6 all be? I guess, but that seems a little hard to believe, doesn't it?

Its a tricky situation we are in. We have to vote (if we don't the scum have all but won), but if we vote to hastily and lynch a townie, the scum have won.

That's a pretty good summary. Maybe we need to look back and where the previous incorrect accusations have come from and try to look for a pattern.

What is the significance of the burning tree?

Is it a message from [insert deity of your choice here]?

What is the significance of the burning tree?

Actually, it's more of a reference that the town is screwed unless the right choice is made today.

It also appears that someone set the tree on fire intentionally.

I think the burning tree might mean that the serial killer is an arsonist, though I'm not really sure how that helps.
