MOC/MOD: Alternative designs for set 4564

I just posted a review of my favorite lego fright train set 4564, and below

follos a few pictures of alternative designs and colours as a tribute to this

excellent set.

Any comments are appreciated.

Locomotive in grey and darkgrey.

The dark green is the best of the three but i will always have a soft spot for the yellow version - nice work keep it up

The yellow one is similar to the one in the Lego loco intro (at about 58 seconds or so):

I too like the dark green one, in some ways better colour than the cargo train of 2007. :sweet:

Like the access doors to engines also the drivers cabin - very nice indeed.

Is it based purely on the old Lego one or is there realism in it too ? :look:

I really like the grey one. Enough to check if I have all the parts, I'm pretty sure I do except for the cab doors.

Lol, I thought at first you had just taken a picture of a regular 4564 train with the camera in black and white mode!
