Space Police : Road Racer Chase

Recommended Posts

Decided to take on a Space Police MOC this time, and also wanted to edit in a box cover to give it that extra touch. (not to easy to do with windows paint :hmpf_bad: ) Anyway i now present to you the Road Racer Chase!

Only thing missing is the space background and some lasers!

Police Cruiser

One of the main points to this set, the cruiser is made to be a standard patrol vehicle for the city streets.

Now just because its a cruiser doesn't mean these engines don't pack some power! Check out that Proton Engine :oh:

A good look at those engine thrusters.

When you see one of these heading after you, best pull over! Just check out that sleek design.

Street Racer

Well looks like that isn't enough to convince this outlaw and his turbo hover cycle!

How this guy managed to get hold of some powerful engines like these we will never know.

Notice the electric jammer ray on the front.

Very nice! The thrusters on the car are awesome and the detail on the bike is cool too. One to fix would be to add more red and blue lights on the police car, and maybe some more black accents, to give it more of a SPIII feel :thumbup:

Amazing work! I would say it looks like a real set, if it weren't for the fact that LEGO would never make a police cruiser that solid, nor a baddie speeder that greeblicious.

That is a nice build. I agree with Prateek, in order to have it fit in the SP3 line, you should have a little black mixed in. Other wise, WOW what an engine. That sucker could put a sunburn on your face as it blows by (reference to the great movie Spaced Invaders).

As for the street racer, that is the first human outlaw that has been allowed to join the bad guys of SP3. That is one wicked looking ride. I am sure that engine is not sanctioned for street use. :classic: With the round piece in the back being white, it looks like it was stolen from the police... not that it hasn't already happened.

Thanks for sharing.

Hello!

When I opened the topic I was not sure if this an official sets review or a MOC. Perfect illusion. I am more attracted by the gangster racer, which is nicely designed with lots of greebling in mind. All those hands, arms, utensils, hinges really give it the feel of a fast engine with seat. :classic:

Cheers,

~ Christopher

Outstanding thrusters on the police speeder, though the wrest of the speeder is a little blocky :sceptic: . Great villian bike, great work on all of the greebling.

Thanks everyone for the tips, i will work on the police cruiser and add some more black along and rounding off some rough edges. The speeder was kind of a last minute thing, i just got out a box of mixed parts an sew what i could do. Sorry the picture quality changes from picture to picture, I'm testing black backgrounds now (or at least trying  )

I would like to have that street racer!

Cop cruiser is really something!

I like the proton engine the best...it can offer some neat acceleration!
